We wanted to see the Yellowtail Dam. First we saw some beautiful sceneries, near the Yellowtail Dam. Red mountains. Wow! We also saw the river passing us by. We went to the Yellowtail Dam and we saw people putting boats on the river. It was happy that we could go close to the Yellowtail Dam. Worthwhile to see!

It was a long drive from Garryowen to get here. Upon arrival at the visitor center we noticed that everything looks run down. Yes, the dam is impressive but the area around it is not. The hiking trails and campgrounds need maintenance. Don't waste your time and gas driving here.

Really enjoyed visiting the Visitors Center and walking around the exhibits and the viewing area. We also drove to the Mariana which is about 10 mile away on the Crow Reservation

Nice place the do short day visit. The drive was very scenic. The visitor center sits on top side of the dam and offers good view. Don’t forget to take the very scenic 10 mile drive to the marina. The ranger at visitor center will give you map.

We spent a beautiful morning on the lake and did a little sight fishing for carp on the flyrod! It is a beautiful spot high above the Bighorn river
