    Beautiful. Not a lot of other visitors which is nice.

    Awesome color layers on the way in. Very windy at the overlook.

    This would be well worth the detour on your way to Yellowstone. The views of the canyon and surrounding area are awe-inspiring. We did the Rangers Delight Trail, fairly easy and quick, and wish we had time for a few more.
    And we got to see the wild horses.
