Owners Erik and Susan are wonderfully attentive to their property as is clear from how well kept our cottage was and how clean, neat and attractive the property looked. Erik gave me some hiking ideas that I would not have considered but for his knowledge of the area. We loved our stay at their quiet location after very full days of hiking and all. We will stay here again when we return to East Glacier.”

512 US-2, East Glacier Park“We love quaint little motels, and this one did not disappoint. Our room had a kitchenette where we made sandwiches then pulled our chairs around the open front door and enjoyed the sound and feel of a wonderful Montana evening.
The beds were comfy and the rooms were very welcoming. I wish we could’ve spent more time there!
You should consider a stay here!”

402 US-2, East Glacier Park“The person up front gave us keys to two occupied rooms before we actually got a key to a room nobody was in... Ops. Make sure to lock your door if you get a room here. Other than that, it's a solid place for the money. A/C was cool, beds were comfy. WiFi did not work but I had 5G with T-Mobile.”

499 MT-49, East Glacier Park“This was our first time at the Glacier Park Lodge. First impression was very nice (and very old). Our room was nice but it had a step/down up to the bathroom. Not sure why but it could have a falling hazard for older folks or someone with mobility issues. We ate breakfast at the Empire Lounge. The buffet was $22 per person and was told they offered made-to-order omelets but there was no one at the station. The other eggs were dry and not very good. We ate other meals at the bar restaurant and it was good but pricey. The location of the lodge is far away from larger cities but we were picked up by two companies we had made arrangements with thru our travel agency. They showed up on time and we enjoyed our tours.”
“To be clear, this is a remote location so please take into account when you stay. The location isn't correct on the map. The cabins are actually just north of this location. We booked online through a 3rd party and there were some hiccups so be prepared if you're doing this through Expedia, etc. The actual cabins are rustic and fun. Our kids loved staying in cottages. The staff was friendly and super accommodating. Please keep in mind that this is a remote area and enjoy the ambiance and beauty of where you are staying!”

40 Montana Ave, East Glacier Park“A warm and welcoming stay — perfect for travelers with dogs
Dancing Bears is a bit tucked away in East Glacier Village — not hidden exactly (there’s a big sign on the road), but it feels like a quieter, lesser-known spot. I’m so grateful to the owners who welcomed me with a big smile, especially since I’ve had such a hard time finding dog-friendly places since I entered Montana.
There weren’t many rooms left, but they offered me a lovely, clean, and comfortable room at a very reasonable price. The owners were incredibly available and helpful — the kind of people who will do anything to help without hesitation. They gave great local tips and were so sweet with my little dog, who felt truly welcome (a rare feeling near a national park!).
The setting may not be the most scenic, but the rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The shower was hot, the bed was cozy, and after a long day of travel, it felt like a much-needed break.
I didn’t give five stars only because the TV in my room wasn’t working (they’re fixing it) and the Wi-Fi signal was weak — small things, really. But everything else was great, and I’d definitely stay here again.
Bonus: there’s a cute little Mexican restaurant nearby if you want something easy and tasty without driving.”
“First of all, I don’t do reviews but this motel deserves one. My family and I have traveled to several parks around the country often staying at “Mom and Pop” motels. And several big city hotels as well. Let me tell you, this place was a pleasant surprise. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is probably the cleanest motel/hotel of any kind I have stayed in for several years. This is a family owned motel that has been passed down through the generations. The owners were so friendly and helpful answering any questions about the park and giving tips of what to do. It’s older but well maintained and the beds were comfortable. We stayed on the East side for the first few days with them before moving to the west side. The East side is the most pristine with the best views and trails and less crowded. Give this place a good look. It beats any park owned lodge I have stayed in….we loved it.”
