About Fort Union Inn
The Fort Union Inn is a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay in Colstrip. The rooms are very clean, fresh, and furnished nicely, equipped with flat screen TVs, cable or Direct TV, air conditioning, heating, a nice refrigerator, a small microwave, and a coffee pot. Some bathrooms could use a little TLC and the decor is a touch dated, but the cleanliness and comfort make up for it. The management and staff are great, awesome, really nice people, and the owner is good. The rates are low and very reasonable. The location is excellent and very convenient. Right outside each door are propane grills and a chair with a table. The Inn allows pets and has a huge expanse of green space beside it with a blacktop run for walks, running, or biking. In the parking lot are a gourmet coffee hut and Grammies, which serves breakfast burritos and the best burgers. Everything is easily walkable in this small, safe town. Very close by are a restaurant, bars, the Rosebud grocery store, and the Town Pump gas station. Right across the street are an ACE Hardware with unique items and a Subway. There are also parks, basketball courts, and casinos nearby. Deer even walk through the town. It is a perfect, totally awesome place for a stay.

Bathrooms could use a little TLC but otherwise a great stay as always. I had 5 rooms for the crew and had no complaints from any of em. Low rates, good TV channel selection, clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. I choose Fort Union over Colstrip Inn every time. Plus the food shacks in the parking lot are muy bueno!
