Great narrated museum tour; make sure you have a couple of hours to peruse the amazing array of historical artifacts!

One of the best-executed historical museums that we've visited. Lots of items but never cluttered or junky. The narration on the audio devices is concise and informative. We spent a lot more time here than expected. The gift shop is also tasteful. A real gem!

When your staying in the Mission Valley you really need to go here and learn about the area, people, history to really enjoy what you are seeing.
The Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana reflects the spirit of the Flathead Indian Reservation and early Montana settlers with its impressive collection of artifacts, Native American beadwork, western art, photographs, and life-size dioramas of an early trading post, the St. Ignatius Mission Church, as well as an Indian camp and wildlife of the area. Collections of hunting artifacts, western horse tack and outfitting equipment also bring to life the stories of life in early Montana.
