Everytime I try and buy from the Deli, it is hard to get waited on. Today I bought the 12 pc chicken dinner. I asked if there were breast in there because I was watching and he said yes.when I got home I found 3 thighs,3 wings,1 leg,1breast. Plus this was all dried up. Very disappointing for the price

The long haired, larger, middle-aged man that works here does NOT bring good vibes into this Safeway. Literally the complete opposite of warm and welcoming, bordering on just plain rude..... I do my best to stick to the uptown Safeway because of this one person. I wish I could avoid this store completely but unfortunately that's not practical for where I live.

It's been a long time since I lived in Butte, but it was always our preferred grocery store. I was in town for business and had to use the restroom in their store, I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked by the meat case. I have never seen such detail and pride put into display like that before. I have managed grocery stores and have never seen that level of standard excited. This caused me to take note of the rest of the store which was dang near in line with the meat case as far as display quality is concerned. Which in the grocery business other than quality of food and customer service is one of the upmost importance things in store can do for itself. Excellent job guys!

The deli sandwiches here are delicious! MUCH better than anything Subway could slap together, and even better than a few Quizno's choices (excluding their hot/melt sandwiches since this is just a deli....and I'm a fan). Always quick and super yummy. The other Safeway does not have a bakery so they use hotdog buns for their deli sandwiches.....uh...no thanks! Stick with this one!

Being that Butte is my hometown, this store and me go back a loooong way, considering my mom shopped here when I was a young'n back in the day. I tend to do shop here when I come home for visits as old habits are hard to break. Great staff has always worked here, even when people have changed. Produce always seems to be fresh and plentiful, bakery still serves up great bread, rolls, etc, and the Deli offers up plenty as well.
