“The staff are always helpful. I was injured June 2023 and when they heard what happened, they were understanding about my situation and worked with me to get me caught up again with my interest. They're always polite and respectful. If I could give them a 10 star rating, I would.”

“I lived in the same neighborhood as Mountain Man until '16, my sister lived two blocks away. I never shopped there until long after I moved uptown. I'm a thrift store shopper by bargain type but a friend from Missoula was in town and she loves pawn shopping. Mid '19, so four years ago, the second pawnshop I was ever in. The first was a bit earlier on the same day across the street at Shopper's Pawn. I'm going to review them next. My friend likes buying movies and electronics affordably, while I'm always looking to upgrade my kitchen equipment, wall art and power/yard tools. They had it. They continue to have it and we're kinda frequent flyers these days. This shop is neighborly, the staff is professional, they're familiar with their patrons and their inventory. For a TV off the top shelf or a lawnmower to the back of your truck, they strike a deal and do the heavy lifting. Cheerfully too, they seem to love their jobs. Here's the funny part, we pulled in by accident the first day. We were across the street for about fi-minutes. We asked about a deal on the movies and the owner said "The price is marked. If you find a better bargain, you should buy them there." Wow. Nobody expected snacks or a restroom attendant, but they're more accurately described as begrudging rather than selling. My friend was driving a bit more frantic then we're used to Butte, jmo. She reversed, (tried) on to Harrison but ended up just backing all the way over to Mountain Man. Trying to turn around we realized we were at another pawn shop, so we went ahead in. We were there quite awhile, got a lot of stuff, and hilariously saw the jerky guy gazing from his lonely parking lot across the street, watching us leave, loaded with bags and carryout help. So...driving North on Harrison, you turn right just past Dominoes, back in, load up and cross the street for a pizza or get a beer at Dano's. Makes for a lovely afternoon.”
