My alternator crapped out on me, in the middle of the night, about 30 minutes south of Broadus. Luckily I had enough juice in the battery to make it to town and wait until morning. The proprietor was kind enough to loan me tools and had the part I needed, in stock, and I was able to swap out the bad part.

Just so rude. The corporate office offers free battery testing and free install if you purchase a battery. This shop refused to follow the corporate policies. O'Reilly, AutoZone, and the like all offer free battery changes as well. The difference is they honor their policies. We won't buy anything at this location in the future and will go to a shop that actually provides customer service.

My car would not start one morning. I walked over to buy a battery. Dan drove me back to my car to try to jump my car over to Carquest; it didn't start. He drove me back to CarQuest to buy a battery, brought some tools along, and drove me back to my car. We replaced the battery, realized it wasn't the battery, and he agreed to return the battery I just bought. Not to mention he drove me over to the local mechanic and dropped me off where I wanted to get breakfast before getting back to Carquest.

The young man who helped me was extremely polite and respectful to customers in the store and on the phone as well. He was very helpful and knowledgeable while keeping in mind that I am on a budget. I needed an oil filter wrench and rather than going for the most expensive, he suggested the easiest to use, which its exactly what I wanted.
