They told me they couldn’t get me in for another two weeks but that I could leave me car there and they could see if they could get to it earlier. They called me the very next day and told me that my car was ready. Their prices were very fair and the work they do is honest, quick, transparent and trustworthy. “Outstandingly good transmission specialists here. Took my 30 year old car in when I had a line fail badly and was expecting a rebuild at minimum, if not complete replacement. To my surprise they indicated they could get parts all the way up to a new transmission despite my vehicle's age. Fortunately we did not have to go this route, I got lucky and they found no issues with the transmission so just fixed the line, repaired an issue with a motor mount, and refilled before sending me on my way.

They have a well earned reputation for honesty, they could easily have told me I needed an entirely new transmission and I'd just have accepted it but they seem to actually care about saving their customers money when possible. To top off the wonderful experience, a couple weeks later I had another small transmission fluid leak and they found it to be due to a faulty seal on the pan, repaired and refilled and charged me....*drum roll*...ZERO dollars.

“I can't say enough good things about Righty Tighty Repair. Jared, Braden, and crew are truly salt-of-the-earth guys—kind, honest, and clearly passionate about their work. I recently went to them on very short notice after the Subaru dealership diagnosed a head gasket issue (amongst a few other things) that they said would cost $5000 to fix. The guys at Righty Tighty inspected my car thoroughly and quickly found that the issue was a broken radiator cap, not the head gasket. They explained the issue to me very clearly (as someone who is not super car savvy). They fixed it for less than $100 and even went above and beyond to install an OBD digital gauge to help me keep an eye on the cooling system temperature while driving. My car has been driving perfectly well since my visit to their shop and it's comforting to know it's still a reliable car.

I just want to add a little personal note: their attention to detail and honesty really stood out, and saved me so much money—money that I was able to use to give my sweet senior cat a peaceful passing at the vet this week. It made a tough time so much easier to bear. I will be sticking with Righty Tighty from now on. These guys turned a stressful situation into a positive experience, and I’m so grateful for their help.
