“The place in Bozeman on Center Valley Road is great. Really clean, and, the girl at the jackrabbit location where I paid for the rental was exceptional. I think she said her name was Abby. Everything was very clear, she covered all the bases. She even stayed a couple of minutes later for me to be able to get there to finalize everything. Whenever I called for help about a location, the agents on the phone are really wonderful and walked me through the directions until I got there.
Now, as far as the other location on Huffine.... absolute disaster and hot mess. The units themselves look very ramshackle and run down, stains on the concrete etc. I was very surprised to find that there are two apartment type places right in the middle of the place attached to the building that I was looking at. Broken shades, Just Junk around the front of the place. And, as I was leaving, I noticed a dog tied up in the only grassy area there, no food no water, filthy, and when I called him to me he was cowering as if he was afraid. I was extremely upset and I called Animal Control. And then went back to the office and asked if she had a container for me to get the dog some water. She kind of casually said, oh, that's the manager'sdog. And then she said he's an inside dog. I said what is an inside dog? I know what an inside cat is like but not an inside dog. I said I don't care if that dog was out there for 5 minutes there should at the very least be water available. I had a container and she said I could fill it up with water in their bathroom. The bathroom was a disaster. Dirty, nothing to dry your hands, no toilet paper either. I can't believe the vast difference between the one in Bozeman and the one in where I think is four corners. If those two apartments belong to the managers, really something should be done. To me, anyone that doesn't take exceptional care of their dog is worthless.
But, in all I am very impressed with the one in Bozeman, really clean, really organized, I'm very comfortable and I feel safe there. It's the first time I ever rented a unit and I'm really pleased. I am telling everyone about how nice the place is. And, the professionalism of the girl on Jackrabbit is compared to the girls on her fine was far and above exceptional. I live in a senior building and I am just singing the Praises of the one in Bozeman and the management there.”

“Clean storage units. Owners are quick responding. Unfortunate they don't prorate units for move outs well before next billing. And a bit pricey for size 5x10x8 ($71 plus additional $9 for renters insurance which is required) but convenient for those living near Gateway.”

“We rented for several years at the Huffine location in Bozeman, Montana. While nobody is happy about the rising costs of living, I wasn't happy to see our storage rates go up either. I think it still remained competitive for the market though.
The 5 stars is for the fact that we could access our unit whenever we needed, and it renaubed water tight and mouse proof for 8 years.
Also, the local manager Candie was wonderful to rent from. Always friendly and helpful.”

I had a couple occasions where I required assistance and they were very accommodating. Been with them since before they opened the nelson road location so ~2 years. Pricing is very reasonable and facilities are fantastic.”

The facility is gated and locked at all times, and the owners are friendly and easy to reach if you ever have a question. The price is reasonable as well for the area, we saw a slight increase maybe twice over 8 years of storing there.”

“Becky and Rachel made the process of finding a great storage facility and then coordinating the move of our stuff across the country and having it delivered to the storage unit without me even being in town. One year plus later, we just took our stuff out and everything looks as pristine as the day it was packed. Many of our belongings would be quite subject to moisture, mold, rodents, and insects and all our contents are in perfect shape. Rachel's customer service is extremely refined with a natural display of empathy that is wonderful as you go through the stress of moving into a new community. I would highly recommend Montana Self Storage for all storage needs. David”

“Great place for storing your items! big units, great prices! Easy access! the only problem that I have ever had is that I signed up for automatic payments to just come out of my account. Not Bad, I love when that's an option! I means I don't have to worry about it. Sadly not this time, the payments never got taken out of my account, then all of a sudden $680 came right out of my account. I know I should have been checking and calling but they didn't answer and I got busy. Not the best Adulting I know. But regardless, I'm really good with all my bills so thank the heavens my rent was already paid, and I had savings. But what if that was my house rent that they just randomly decided to collect on? what if my other bills were waiting on that pay check? I don't know, I just think it was sloppy and could of been handled better. I mean they obviously had my info on file to be able to take all that money out, why haven't they been doing that the whole time? Anyways I hope to get this straightened out, I do love this company and the units are great, truly! If you need a good place this is it! Even considering the payment issue I would recommend this place to everybody!”

“We rented 4 pods over the beginning of June til June 9- which was move out day for us. Every step of the way- Sydney & her staff answered our questions and went above & beyond to help us.
Then we needed a 5th pod, which they brought promptly! The day we needed the 5th pod and the following day, when pods needed to be moved off our property and into the Uhaul storage facility (on Huffine in Bozeman, MT) the truck to pull the flatbed trailer that would haul the pods away had some type of mechanical issue so Sydney had to do a ton of creative problem solving to help us get the pods off our property that we had sold so the new owner had room to move in. Suffice it to say- she and her staff moved mountains to get it all done in a timely fashion!! If there were employees as hard working, professional and helpful as Sydney & staff in every business, you would see smiling customers 24/7. Give them all a much deserved raise!!! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts!!”
