The guy selling the vehicle was nice, but they use the cheapest parts available on the market after they buy used vehicles for re-sale. They care more about their profit margin instead of a quality vehicle.

Disappointing. Bought a used 2014 subaru. I had a couple questions afterward, I called the dealership, never got a return phone call. Upon buying, they told me car was serviced before they put it on the lot. Got it home, after a couple days noticed it had an oil leak, $3,000 to fix the leak (actually 2 different oil leaks). They also filled out the temporary registration incorrectly, incorrect VIN number.

I live in Colorado and was referred to Matt at Peak Cars. It’s not really easy buying a car in another state, but Matt was so accommodating and professional. He found exactly what I was looking for and I have never had such an easy and positive experience buying a car. Thank you so much Matt I can’t say enough good things about my experience with you and Peak Cars! I couldn’t be any happier! I highly recommend Peak Cars if you’re looking to purchase a vehicle!

I had a positive experience at Peak Cars with Anthony. The process was easy and he kept me informed on the buying process with them and my bank. I am happy with my unexpected purchase. I went here because I have had friends buy cars here and they also had a positive experience.

We had been searching for a Lexus RX350 for our daughter for months with no success. We finally found one at Peak Motors and my husband went to test drive it when he was in Bozeman one day. We were told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle on multiple occasions and that their mechanic thoroughly checked it out. We also received a CarFax from them and there weren’t any issues. On the cosmetic side the car was immaculate and drove without any issues. We decided to purchase the vehicle and on the drive from Bozeman to Helena we noticed a few minor; or what seemed like minor, rattles. We drove it to our mechanic and within 1 hour he found $3700 worth of major issues that needed to be fixed. Had they been upfront and lowered the price a little I still would have purchased the vehicle. The customer service was great but there was a lack of integrity towards the issues that were very easily found out about the vehicle. When I called and told them everything that was needing to be fixed, there was little concern. I put 4k down and they didn’t even offer to give me anything back. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of integrity all the way around.

I had a positive experience with Peak. I was not greeted on the lot, which is fine by me. It gave me time to look around. When I was ready to take a closer look, I went into the building where I was immediately greeted. The salesperson (Anthony, I think?) was not pushy, gave me keys to take one for a spin, and let me do my own thing while considering a significant purchase. I ultimately decided to take home a new-to-me Frontier that same day. He stayed late on a Friday to make sure that would happen.
The price, which they were unable to work on, was a little bit higher than book value. This is common for the Gallatin Valley. I could have driven a few hundred miles to get an equivalent vehicle for a little cheaper. But, I didn't want to spend my time for that. I'm not going to ding Peak on this review simply because they are bound by the economic restrictions of the area. They have to feed their families, too.

We spoke with Matt multiple times today about a 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali they have for sale, prior to driving over three hours to their dealership. While he answered questions and provided a list of all the things they fixed on the vehicle, he did not disclose the major issues that they did not fix. We specifically asked if there were any issues with the vehicle prior to driving 3 hours, and were told there weren’t any issues. We arrived and looked over the vehicle for over an hour. During that time, Matt didn’t disclose the major issues which were listed on the report from his mechanic. Upon noticing that only one brake light out of three were working, and finding the car failed to start on the first attempt, he finally disclosed and described in detail that the fuel pressure switch was faulty and could only be repaired by dropping the gas tank and replacing the fuel pump. When asked about why the compressor for the auto ride suspension kept running, he finally disclosed the air suspension did not work. He said they “ had too much into the car and had to draw the line about which repairs to make.” If he would have been honest, it would have saved us a complete wasted day from our vacation, and from writing this review so others were not mislead. It’s people like this that give used auto dealers a bad reputation.

We have bought 4 cars here in the past two years. The last purchase resulted in Peak cars being unable to secure the title from the Auction where they purchased it. Ryan took the car back without any issues or complaints and sold us another car at a reasonable price. I keep going back because they are professional, friendly and easy to deal with. A++++++

We just purchased our second vehicle from Ryan and his team, and once again are super happy with the buying process and both of our vehicles. He was also happy to answer some questions about the car after we brought it home (just "how does this work" kinda stuff). I'd recommend Peak Cars to anyone looking for a solid used vehicle.

PLEASE READ!! If this saves one person from going through what I have been through this is worth it. Ryan Langley do you remember me?? Yeah it's me Ms. Strobel the one you SCAMMED on craiglist. Since you refuse to answer my phone calls or texts im writing you on here. Wanted to let you know which I highly doubt you care that you messed my life for quite some time now. You took every single penny I had which rendered me homeless in a car that broke down the same day YOU sold it to me. You lied to me you said you were a mechanic and you are not. Did the fact that you were the sales manager at Peak Auto just slip your mind that day??!! Why RYAN did you fail to tell me this i know why because you knew this car was a lemon and you found the weakest person you could find. I was bruised, battered and broken you knew it. I have tried hundreds of times to get ahold of you and tell you what was wrong with this car. In case that slipped your kind mind too it's a 2001 pathfinder. I have put over $5,000 into this car plus the 3100 you charged me and if I remember correctly YOU said this thing ran like a top and nothing was wrong with it except the window wouldn't roll down. So many things you lied about i dont have time to write them all so i'm cutting to the chase before I really say something I regret. PLEASE IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THIS PERSON SCAM THEM CONTACT ME I AM BEGGING YOU. I have a handful of people that are willing to come forward as well. Please look for your next car as far away from this place as possible.

We unexpectedly had to look for a new car and checked out a few of the dealerships around town. Peaks was the last and final stop. I only wish we went there first. We had such a wonderful experience with Ryan and his staff. They are friendly and easy going. They're not pushy or hovering over you to make a sale.Thanks Peaks!!!

Absolutely sucked very rude stood outside for 10 minutes no one ever came out to see if we needed help when I walked in they were very rude and were no help at all would not recommend this dealership to anyone
