Ressler Motors Parts Dept is definitely the place to go to , not just if you are in need of parts for vehicles, but they are super knowledgeable and very helpful for answering any questions that you may have! The friendly staff there make it easy for someone like me, who really doesn't know much in the way of cars, to get the answers that I need. They make me feel as if I am human and not just a number or dollar sign. Very caring and helpful!!

Trash. I drove from Helena for a brake special I scheduled. Since it was no longer January, she wouldn't honor the brake special I scheduled. Just completely drove 180 miles for nothing. I will NEVER go back there.

The best, easiest and most upfront service I have ever received when buying a new truck.
Thank you!!

Do not get work done at the Chevy ressler. They charge more than any place in town and do low quality work. They billed me $800 over what they quoted me to do, and have incredibly disingenuous business practices. I had to take my truck in twice, and they agreed to do work that they didn't even have the tools to do, so now I have to get it worked on again. Leadership from the manager Brett was incredibly poor, and there were obviously no systems in place to fix any mistakes. Only positive was Mike in the service department, he was very helpful. Overall horrible experience though.

This is what you get when a dealer has a geographical monopoly on the Toyota brand, I guess. Other reviews say they've gone downhill, I guess I got here at the valley floor. My sales experience was pretty standard, I enjoyed working with Annika, but I did have to put down a $1K deposit on the 22 Tacoma I was buying at MSRP off website spec. Was cheaper than buying a certified used with a bunch of miles, thanks Covid-stock-shortage. Anyway, the deposit agreement stated that I would agree to stop shopping and wouldn't buy elsewhere (which I did, big mistake), and they would do their best to deliver what I ordered. I was advised I'd have to wait 6-8 months for it to be delivered, NBD. Well, 6 months comes and I call for an update and it's almost there. Then it shows up, and I get a call to come in and sign the invoice on a Wednesday morning, said I would try to make it in by Thursday, but couldn't get out of work and missed that (my bad). Got a frantic call Friday morning threatening that if I didn't get in to sign the invoice that day, they'd sell it to someone else. So I went in and asked them if we could talk about the deposit agreement we had both signed that they were planning on violating after holding my $1K for 6 months. When the sales manager was forced to sit with me he explained the threat was a joke. I got no actual apology. I felt pretty bad for the poor salesperson that has to work for that guy. Ended up buying a TRD lift kit, specifically asked about warranty terms and how it would be covered. They told me as long as I didn't drive it off the lot before they installed it, it would have a 3 year coverage, so I left it there for another week. They didn't seem to have any issue with that same truck sitting on the empty lot for a whole damn week once the invoice had been signed. Well, one of the shocks went out about 14 months in. Got it in for service and they told me that it needed both rear shocks and a bunch of ancillary parts replaced. Asked if it would be covered by my warranty / service plan, was told "no, because I took it off the lot before they installed it, which meant a 12 month warranty." Politely informed them that I did not in fact drive it off. Now they need to call me back. When they did, they said the one shock would be covered by the warranty, but that's all that needed to be replaced. Bushing on the other rear shock was noted by the technician to be smashed but they told me I'll just have to wait for it to fail to get it covered by warranty if I didn't want to pay out of pocket for that. So then I have to ask them to include the technician's original recommendation in the service notes for both shocks and all the other parts that they will now not be doing. I mean, I get that technically that's what is going to be covered for now since that's what's broke, but it just feels kinda shady. And, not that this is specific to Ressler, but I've only taken the vehicle off of paved roads 6 times in the 14 months I've had it, and none of those were complete off-road (all dirt roads). A lift kit should be able to sustain a few trips to Copper City and Leverich, won't be buying TRD kit next time. Found out through the process and reading some reviews that the ~2800 they charged me for the lift kit is over $1K more than the MSRP for the thing, which Billings has listed at $1440 (before labor I assume). Still, even paying retail I got charged for that much labor even though other dealers say it takes between 3-5 hours. Caveat emptor and all that, but don't expect anyone here to shoot straight with you. The one star is for the lower level sales and service folks who are all really pleasant and seem to want to do a good job. I don't think they're managed very well unfortunately. I'll be using local service outfits or driving my truck all the way to Billings for dealer service once I'm done with Ressler, wish I had read more reviews before buying here in the first place. I had a service appointment today at 1:30 pm. We live about 60 miles from the dealership, approximately 1 hour drive. when I arrived at 1pm I was told they were too busy to accommodate my vehicle and I would have to come back another day. So $20 in gas and basically a half day of my time meant nothing to Ressler Motors. I have spoken to other people today that would give this dealership a zero rating. BTW I have used Ressler for service for years, so I was familiar to them. Definitely a thumbs down

These guys are awesome. Steve the GM, Jon the head of used cars, and Nick Watson were all fantastic throughout my entire buying process. After having a truly disastrous experience with another dealership, Ressler took awesome care of me: from the end of my old truck's life through the purchase of my new truck. They repeatedly went above and beyond what was necessary. I would recommend them to anyone and can't think of another dealership with whom I'd rather do business.

I bought my car from here and have been getting it serviced since then, which was almost five years ago. I brought my car in recently and had specifically asked them to check my brakes and rotors, paid for an alignment, and they said everything looked great. The problem was still continuing so I brought it in to them a second time. I explained what was going wrong and scheduled an oil change to get both things taken care of. They told me my brakes and rotors looked good for a second time. Yet I'm still experiencing the same exact problem when driving it home. I took it to Honda and they told me immediately what was wrong and said they didn't know how that was missed. I explained the situation with my car the exact same way I did at Ressler. when I called the manager she basically told me it was my fault the problem wasn't fixed because I should've know her technician that does oil changes isn't well trained enough to know what was wrong with my car. It's so hard to find honest people to service your car, and these people aren't some of them. Nothing was offered for the problems their technicians caused or for my time wasted. Go somewhere else for servicing!! Hate to be giving them a bad review when I've been a customer for so long but when they mess up there's no accountability/good customer service. Very unfortunate.

Do not buy a car from these people. Bought a new Toyota Takoma from "Russler" last summer. Ordered new, placed a down payment and waited 2 months for it to arrive (no problem). Everything was great until we received a call from the salesman (Nick) who advised the car would arrive at the dealership the following week and he wanted us to come in and complete all of the paperwork. I advised that I wanted the car to be delivered first then I wished to inspect it, take it for a quick drive then I would sign the contracts and take delivery. Nick was furious and tried his best to strong arm me into signing contracts for something that he was not ready to deliver. I refused and he hung up on me. Once the car arrived a few days later he called back (no apology) and asked us to come down and see the car. We inspected it, drove it, then signed all of the contracts. At the time, we traded in another car. They would not issue me a check for the equity I had in the car until my bank sent them the title (I still owed about 13K on the car). I have always been given a check for equity the same day by dealers in the past (credit score is 864) but that's ok- I was not upset. After almost 3 months of waiting I still had not been sent a check for the equity in my old car. I called my bank and the title had been sent to "Russler" within 30 days of the transaction. So they were sitting on my 10K hoping I would forget I guess. After several calls to Ryan in finance I was finally sent a check. This took several weeks. Honestly I think he forgot about it, and there was not a plan to keep the money but still, it was a nightmare getting them to send me a check.

I recently rented a car from here, to which 2 hours after drop off, Chris informed me of damage to the vehicle that I know for a fact was not done by me and I was not liable for, as they failed to fulfill their obligation to do a walk around with me at the time of drop off. Chris, the service manager, was very unpleasant to speak with and used tactics of intimidation, threatening to send the bill to collections without first having sent me the bill, to try to get me to pay $322 for the loose clip. I consider this to be normal wear and tear for a vehicle with 50,000 miles as opposed to accidental damage. Arguing with Chris was futile so I was able to get ahold of the General Manager, Steve Steinbrook, who reached out to me in a timely manner and was nothing short of understanding and professional. He dropped the claim immediately and sent me a confirmation letter releasing me from all financial liability. Steve, you get an A+ for customer service and turning the situation around with one short phone call. Chris, you get a big fat F and I hope you learn from this experience so you can better serve your customers.

Ressler has really gone downhill. I was extremely happy with the purchase then service of my Toyota with them a decade ago, but in no way will I ever deal with them again. They should be avoided, period. Specifically, I have two Toyotas and have started looking at buying my third. Ressler is the obvious choice. I called and they told me quite rudely that now they are only selling to people living in Gallatin County--not anyone in adjacent or nearby counties, places that have no car dealers at all! "Not even people who have bought from you before and have had service done with Ressler for a decade?" Yup, that's correct. Talk about ridiculous business practices! Then service--for many years they were very good about helping me with a very small recurring issue, something that takes them only a minute or two to do when I stop in. They've never tried to charge me for it and in fact it was a verbal part of my purchase agreement a decade ago. Well, most recently they finished and the person in charge handed me a $33 bill! For one or two minutes work, no less. I objected and she pulled it back saying "next time..."--it was obviously all a preplanned way to get rid of me (remember I'm looking for a new Toyota now, no less--a $50,000+ one). I will say the people in their parts department have generally been helpful, but when I call the three closest Toyota dealers Resslers' prices are almost always pretty significantly higher for the same exact items as the other two. Hopefully Ressler will go out of business soon. With their attitudes these days, they seem to be aiming for that.

We were on a business trip from out of state when our truck broke down. It wouldn't start so we had it towed to Ressler as they were the closest Chevy dealer and said they could have the truck looked at on Wednesday, 5/4. We called on 5/4 to check the status on the vehicle, but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Once we finally got ahold of Ary in the service department a few days later, she told us the vehicle would be seen on Monday 5/11, we didn't hear from her again despite all week, until 5/13 when she said the vehicle was ready. We flew back to pick up the vehicle and we're amazed at the condition of it. There were grease hand print stains all over the inside, our driver's side speaker was blown, our tire was 20psi under the required tire pressure and our shocks were in horrible condition (they charged for a diagnostic and drove the vehicle 5 miles so they would have noticed it). We attempted to speak to someone while we were there about the condition of our vehicle, but they were all busy. We've been trying to contact someone to speak to about our experience and the damage to the vehicle, but they're giving us the run around. We finally received a message from someone in their loan department (our vehicle is not even financed) for this complaint on Wednesday, 5/18. Kasey from the loan department couldn't tell us anything about our vehicle repair, of course because she's in the loan department not the service department so she couldn't answer our questions or concerns, nor would she pass us off to anyone that could. If we could give this place 0 stars, we would. The service is awful and we wish we would've read their reviews before we had our vehicle taken there. Our vehicle shook the whole way home because of the shocks and is now in a local repair shop, where even they were astounded by the condition of the vehicle and that Ressler would let us drive it back to CO with the unsafe condition of the shocks. Save yourself the hassle and Integrity of your vehicle and don't take it here.

Bought a new truck at the Chevrolet side. After getting moved around through the online portal I called and spoke with a sales rep and then went in. Brendan was awesome at getting everything lined out and taken care of. Wasn't any pressure to buy. That part of the experience was great. The downside was when I went to get an accessory put on that I had bought with the truck. Called and left messages a few times with no response. Then called Brendan the sales rep, who on his day off, got them to call me back in 30 minutes. After getting an appointment made and getting in for the work to be done, it looks like poo. Now I have to take it back in to get redone. Brendan gets a big A+ The rest get a meh.

Had a wonderful experience with Ryan Ghormley at Ressler! He helped me narrow down my search and find a perfect new vehicle for me. He was easy to talk to, knew his stuff, and made the process smooth and easy. Thanks again!

Do not buy an extended warranty! Ever since the warranty period was up I've been getting 5 calls a day from telemarketers. They must sell your info! Tried to call Ressler about this issue and couldn't get ahold of anyone.
