They are the most racist bank, they profile their customers when it come to loans. Let me say if you area minority regardless of what credit score they tell you they look at for loans and make good money they will never give you a loan. I have been with them since 2013 when it was great Western bank. I have bought cars and I in the process of buying a house and never once have I used them because they have never been wanting to work with me on any thing always find a reason to reject me. Today was classic but I am planning to meet with branch manager.

This is the very best bank there ever was in Bozeman Montana, especially the bank 203 West Main. All of the people there have been more than anyone could ask for. They treat you as a very valuable customer and have always gone "above and beyond" to solve any problems I have had with other accounts. Thank you especially to Cathleen Logan in the Wealth Management department. Couldn't ask for more!! Connie Hammond

If I could rate this Bank a zero, I would. I've never left a negative review for anyone except this Bank. It's been on my to-do list to switch Banks because of multiple other issues after the transition to interstate Bank from Great Western. So many headaches. Today and last minute, I traveled to Omaha to withdraw cash for our 11 kids including daughter-in-law's. We are celebrating Christmas this weekend. Our main gift to them is cash and guess what, they couldn't access my account so, no Christmas presents. I'm devastated. Oh - according to two ATMs that I've tried, all the sudden my PIN number doesn't work...

I work Mon-Fri and the bank is not open for any weekend hours. I stopped by this morning (before work- my only option) for a simple deposit and $40 in change and not only watched other cars pull up after me and leave before me, but also waited 16 minutes to deposit my cash. Recently switched to this bank but absolutely would not recommend.

I was a customer of Great western bank for a very long time and once First interstate took over it got worse and worse, I finally closed my account and switched to a real bank. Do not trust them with your money, I had an issue at Great western they knew me when came in and they addressed me by my name like a neighbor. This bank told me they use an outside company to handle issues, and the number they gave me came up possible scam, so I tried to take care of the issue at the bank and they would not, so I took the loss and move to a very long standing privately owned bank, I sure miss Great western, but I do believe I found an equivalent bank. With actual customer service.

If I could give them negative stars I would! First Interstate Bank is an institution of incompetence and scam artists. I had to shut down my bank accounts because they were moving money around without my knowledge or authorization. I was patient and understanding but the problem persisted with no end in sight. The credit card division of First Interstate is even worse. They redeemed a payment but keep sending me statements with interest and late fees for something they were already payed on. I have sent letters with proof from my current bank that it was redeemed on there end and had numerous mind numbing phone calls that lead right back to square one over and over and over again. They have ridiculous excuses for why it's not getting fixed. Most recently I spoke with a very rude and unprofessional lady that gave me an email to send proof of payment but it was an incorrect email address. I have given up and payed it again with interest and late fees to save my own sanity and move on from dealing with these crooks. DO NOT BANK WITH FIRST INTERSTATE BANK!!!!!!!!!!

3 tellers standing in lobby at banking terminals all closed. No help, no service. Not being acknowledged after 3 minutes standing, waiting drove to other location. Avoid like the plague.

This is the worse bank. If you need any kind of customer service, plan on being On Hold for several minutes to hours, plan on someone disconnecting you (on the bank's end) anytime they transfer you to talk to someone else, and don't plan on talking to anyone from a local bank unless you go to the bank in "person". This has been a frustrating experience since my old bank merged with FIB. Don't be surprised when you get someone that speaks broken english with a thick accent to help you and good luck understanding them. I have had this happen all 9 times I have had to call this bank and it is just the worse. I am done and now moving to a new bank.

I waited for quite a while being told that the teller would be with my shortly, she must have forgotten about me, I had to caller the teller again. She then acted like I did something incorrectly. Not the greatest customer service, will probably be going to a different location from now on.

NEGATIVE ONE MILLION STAR"S!!!!!!!!!! We had been with Great Western Bank since about 2006 and liked it just fine. Since First Interstate took them over we have had nothing but trouble. Too many screw up's to mention here! All I can say is "RUN" from this bank! Horrific customer service, worse than any I have ever experienced. If I can ever get all of their mistakes fixed, we are closing our account ASAP and moving to a local bank! If you like super long wait times, and getting passed around to other incompetant people, and having your accounts all messed up, this bank may be the one for you!
