As many others have said, these guys are the best. I was on a road trip when my serpentine belt failed, engine overheated, and radiator ripped open (Honda Element with more than 226k miles on it). Having never used a mechanic in Bozeman, I was apprehensive about going to an independent shop rather than the dealership, but I'm so glad I did. They were able to take my car right away, diagnosed it quickly, and gave me a practical approach to fixing it, while being clear there were no guarantees the car would survive. They replaced the radiator and serpentine belt in one day for $800, which seemed more than fair to me (and cheaper than most online estimates). They were honest and practical, telling me to do this work but nothing more until I knew the car would survive. Fortunately, my engine seems to have survived the extreme heat cycle and feels no worse for wear or underpowered. They can seem a little gruff, but I am so appreciative to these guys for running an honest business with solid work and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

They did a great job finding the cause and solution to the strange noises my car was making. Service took only a few hours and the pricing was very fair for the expertise they provided.

Always reliable, friendly, and honest. Have used them for several years and for different vehicles for different problems with no problems afterwards. After using different mechanics throughout the valley, I can say that their team is the best.

Such a great experience with College Exxon! Being new to the area, I didn’t know where to go, but thought I would give them a try. Not only did they go above and beyond in their service, but they were cheaper than others. Since this is my only vehicle, I showed up early and they were able to get me right in and serviced my vehicle quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great service at a fair price. Dave is a straight shooter, a person of integrity who is honest.

My whole family has been going to College Exon almost exclusively for the last 15 to 20 years! We've never been disappointed or felt the need to question the mechanical suggestions and advice we are given from the shop! I'd strongly suggest giving this shop a try!
