I don't like deceit or sneaky marketing in any store. During a store promotion, to give someone the coupon they could have used in the store but to give it to them at the checkout, AFTER PAYING, is deceitful if not dishonest. The coupon does not say "on your next purchase". It is a coupon for a discount on current purchases. Watch out for this store's practices!!

Today, my wife and I stopped into World Market in Bozeman. We have shopped in World Market in Florida in several locations. We enjoy shopping in these stores. I must say that today was the first bad experience we have ever had. We had selected many items from this store which included two bottles of Belgium beer. When we went up to the register to pay there were several people behind us and we were conversing with them while we were in line. I stepped up to place the items on the counter and I noticed that as I was placing them on the counter instead of scanning them and bagging them she was restocking them to the side. Once she had everything in a separate pile she began to ring them up. When she got to the beer she said she needed to see our id's so I pulled mine out, which I am 67 and my wife is 67. She said she needed both our id's. My wife had not brought her purse so she stated she couldn't sell us the beer. It was I federal law.
In all the times we have been in the same situation in stores located in Florida we were never asked for both our id's. Never have I been as embarrassed. I will never set foot in that World Market again.

Would not make change for a $50. Not shopping here again. These corporate policies are getting ridiculous.

Great store we love it, have been going since it opened. The one woman Sarah ( I believe her name is) is absolutely wonderful and very friendly.
Most staff is wonderful, our only complaint is the blonde woman named Lorna. She has always been extremely rude and very short with us, and other people for absolutely no reason. And she has a lot of attitude towards people, and won't say hi even. We had purchased something that had a discounted price sticker on it (and placed that face up) and she looked at it and rang up the item at the non discounted price. When I pointed out the sticker to her she huffed and rolled her eyes and complained that "now I have to rescan everything".

So many great items from around the world. Very clean store and the employees are extremely helpful. Always a pleasure to shop here. Very unique items.

Please commend Leigh for her Top Level Customer Service. She went above and beyond to assist me even though the store was 10 minutes from closing. I want the corporate office of World Market to know that they have a Fine Gem on their hands with Leigh. This isn't the first time she's helped us. We have a family business and often times get our supplies at her store. Her pleasant attitude is consistent and inviting.

I can't believe I have never heard or been to this place! I am in shock and so surpat all the great items and groceries from around the world here!Great selection of Christmas cookies and Hawaiian products. I can get Hawaiian sun drinks, haupia, even coconut syrup! Staff was very kind and plenty of parking.
