The simple fact that even when I have purchases with NOTES SAYING DELIVER DIRECTLY TO FRONT DOOR THEY STILL DO NOT DELIVER IS A JOKE. HIRE A MAILMAN, NOT A LAZYMAN.

The mail man is worthless. I wait at home, keep my dogs inside all day, and he still doesn't attempt to try and deliver my package to my door. I know I am not the only one he has done this too, he is just in-fact to lazy to get out of his vehicle to properly deliver his mail.

“Nice small town feel†must mean never getting packages. I am actively cancelling accounts with anyone who ships USPS. I not only have never succeeded in getting a package delivery at my house (even when I am home), the hours of 10-2 M-F mean that I have to interrupt my workday to then go pick up packages, which they refuse to leave. Today, knowing I was getting a package a company idiotically shipped USPS, I left a very clear note in my box telling them “I am home. Leave my package. It is importantâ€. The note was gone, the package wasn't left, and the reason marked is “no secure location†and “dogâ€. Now my dogs have been in all day. But even then, they could have left the package outside the gate. Despite the snow. Or honked, maybe? I WAS HOME!!! But nah. I seriously doubt he even got out of the truck. It was important. It's a three day weekend. I can't just leave my job any time to run to an office only open 10-2. But I can, luckily, probably make it work, unlike many, many people. I'm one of the lucky ones. I work near the Post Office. At least this wasn't my neighbor's similarly undelivered packages of insulin, that was vitally needed, but still. It was important. And it wasn't a vital prescription drug, unreplacable because the insurance company had already paid. But this company making the mistake to ship via USPS means it will be late next week before I can get my package, that I needed today, or at latest Monday (when UPS would have delivered, well, and a friendly honk so I could run out and grab my package). Requesting redelivery would result in the same BS as happened today, so it's not really an option. And once something doesn't deliver the hours make it impossibly to get a package that day. I understand that the USPS is strained financially. However, behavior and service like this has made me into an active boycotter of any company who ships with them and won't give me a NO USPS shipping guarantee. Because it makes my life a little bit more of a hassle, and if it's going to be a hassle, I might as well skip the shipping and pay the extra for a store to get something for me. Honestly, with the internet the USPS has become an anachronism that delivers almost nothing but junk mail to my house. And they could at least try to succeed in delivering packages, which could make them relevant, but they fail miserably every single time in that, too.
