Montana Gallery is a wonderful space. Tyler, the owner, is one of the most kind and unassuming people I've ever met. The art he carries in the gallery as well as the artists he showcases are of the highest quality.My wife and I were looking for a venue for a small wedding, we walked in and instantly agreed it was the perfect space for us. We had a very intimate gathering and the space lent itself to all of our needs, from dinner and dance floor, to the ceremony. Beyond that, the backdrop for our wedding had some of the most engaging and beautiful pieces of art from all over the state and even the world. The artists showcased most in the gallery are classically trained, and their pieces added a richness to many of our wedding photos. The Montana Gallery is a place that deserves to be experienced and enjoyed by all who enter.

I am a little biased because the owner is one of my best friends, but the Montana Gallery has a commitment to art and local culture that is truly special. The owner Tyler Murphy strives to create art that is personal, but relevant to the world around him, and has gathered together works from other quality artists around the state. Located next to one of Billings best coffee shops in Billings, it's worth a visit to enjoy some quality espresso, and enjoy paintings from some of the American West's best young painters.

Montana Gallery is the most accessible art gallery I've been to. I discovered it because of Ebon Coffee that has a conjoining door. The gallery is very clean and pleasing to look at. I don't love the Montana prairie, but the artists that sell here make brilliant work. The owners are usually here, and are very approachable to talk with. Each piece feels intentionally hung, without overwhelming the visitor. You can expect monthly art show events, and special Art Walk nights.Once a month, the gallery hosts Story Night, which has quickly become one of the most influential regular events of Billings culture. If you're in town for one, it's a must.
