The owner was rude and smug from the get go. So that started on the wrong foot the collection was decent a little high priced and very small inside the store I probably would have bought something if he was nicer. I’d take your business to Murdochs

Worst costumer service I have ever dealt with. Extremely rude people, not helpful what so ever.

Mike and Maddi are great to deal with. They take a personal approach while selling ammo and firearms. They will help you find exactly what you are looking for. I'd go back there any day! Thank you Mike and Maddi for your great business!

Went in to find ammo, which they had on the shelf with price tags on. I asked to buy a box and she told me they she didn't think she wanted to sell it for reasons unknown. The man before me wanted to a see a firearm to buy and she suddenly told him she didn't want to sell it anymore. Very strange business model. Very unhelpful.

Went to Bigfork Guns and Ammo today as I saw an add saying they had ammo. My friend and I frequent local gun shops all over northwest Montana hoping to find interesting items on our list and reasonably priced ammo. Here is what I found at BGA... The Good: The location is conveniently located in Bigfork, so people who are not from the area should be able to find it easy. They do have a lot of inventory. New and used firearms, tac equipment and ammunition. The employees were friendly. The Bad: The prices on firearms were on the high end. Now this could be because of its location in a resort town. That is to be expected. What blew me away was their price on ammunition. 2 -3 times higher than suggested retail. For instance 2 weeks ago I bought a 100 rd box of Armscor 9mm ammo for $35 at Murdocks in Kalispell. GBA was asking close to $90. A few weeks back I bought Winchester green tip 5.56 for $12.50 a box from Cabellas (no limit) GBA was asking $22. I understand there is an ammo shortage, but it's not that short. I still find reg priced ammo everyday and don't need to pay double. I LOVE ma and pa shops and want to love this one. I just can't afford to.

Great people, very accommodating in every way. For a small, local shop, it is well stocked and has a wide selection of firearms and accessories. Very welcome addition to Bigfork, negates the need to drive into town to larger stores.
