I have been waiting for over a week for 8 boxes for a business at the airport. I can't believe the USPS can't deliver boxes 1/2 a mile away for over a week. I have scheduled redelivery on their website with instructions on where to leave the packages, as well as opened up a service inquiry. I was left with a note that it's available for pickup. No thanks. I'm not paying you for shipping, then doing your job for you. I try to avoid using the post office in Belgrade at all costs. I don't have any issues with UPS or FedEx deliveries. Get it together post office!

I had a passport appointment. The bald guy at the counter was very very RUDE & UNPROFFESIONAL!!
I am completely appalled that as a Post Office, they allow someone who works with customers on a daily basis be in customer service.

If you are even remotely parked by the mailbox, the workers can't be bothered to step out and deliver the mail. God forbid you have to step out to deliver mail by foot. Typical lazy government workers.

So many complaints about a man not smiling and kissing up , idk who needs to read this but he's not a waiter and he isn't performing for tips. I would MUCH rather this quick and painless experience compared to the hour plus wait for just one very cranky worker at the Bozeman office with the line out the door

I had a passport appointment this morning. The man who did my appointment was absolutely horrible to me. He was short tempered and acted like the appointment I made was a huge inconvenience to him (it took him maybe 7 minutes) He was so rude I look like I am about to cry in my photo. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR PASSPORTS!! He needs fired for the way he treats his customers. Absolutely unacceptable behavior at 9am.

I'm usually pretty good at making sure stuff doesn't get shipped via USPS in Belgrade, but I let an order slip. Tracking said they tried to deliver on June 1st, and that they will try again on the next business day. The problem is, the "next business day" was 13 days ago. You can't call them to ask a question, which means I would have to drive there to inquire or complain. First off, if I were going to drive there, I'd just deliver the order myself. Second, if you go to the Belgrade USPS with a complaint, they will do everything they can to make you sorry you went there. Belgrade's post office is a shining example of why USPS is constantly in financial trouble, and at a constant risk of being closed. Wish they would shutter their doors country-wide... Then some other company, say UPS, would take over. Our packages would arrive on time and customer service would be a million times better.
Logistically speaking, why is it that, when I ship or mail something 20 miles, it does a around trip of 400 miles? All the more chances of it getting lost. Then when it gets to the destination USPS, it gets handled by a facility like Belgrade's. Someone must be keeping the failed deliveries for personal use or profit. They deserve far less than a 1.9 Google rating.

Always the most unpleasant experiences ever. I stopped going to this USPS location. If you can’t be nice to people or even fake it, don’t work in customer service. All the employees here are miserable and very rude and talk to the customers like they are dumb. Drive to a different town and go to a post office elsewhere.

You have to be a real idiot to judge the USPS based on a single interaction with a single human. These people work hard to serve YOU. They serve you when people are jerks, when peers are sick, and when they are dealing with their own issues. They serve you and deliver your mail and packages in the cold rain and snow. People really need to be more grateful and take a sip of coffee and catch their breath. We need do this together, and until you wanna be part of the solution, you are the problem. Love thy neighbor or something like that.
TLDR. Be better and build people up around you, rather then trying to tear them down. B4L.

The latest Postmaster General promised poorer service and higher costs.............He Has Delivered. His appointment is by state governors. All complaining parties are voting for this, so THEY are getting what they've asked for. Of course it's rotten service, you're in the Gallatin Valley !!!

I went in for my passport photo and delt with Stuart. He was extremely unpleasant and rude to me while speaking a rushing the entire process. I had asked to retake my photo and he said why then proceeded to speak rudely to me. Very unprofessional and rude. Don’t recommend to go here, if you do ask for someone other than him.

The bald, heavy set, older man that works there has no concept of customer service. As rude as they come. Its painfully obvious that he hates his job.
Hey dude, quit. Nobody is forcing you to work there. Stop taking out your personal problems and issues on customers. Saying sir and ma'am doesn't make up for your complete lack of care and your obvious anger towards your place of employment.

The Belgrade post office is possibly the biggest waste of taxpayer dollars in MT. I have had NOTHING but issues with these guys on several other occasions. Packages will not make it to your door, I understand being short staffed, but not even making an attempt to deliver a package before returning it to sender is unethical. USPS tracking states “delivered” and nothing at the dropbox. This also makes it very hard to work with sellers as they do not want to send replacements due to the package stating that it was delivered. I have never even received a pink slip notifying me that the delivery was unsuccessful. Pure frustration and disappointment. The postmaster, Stuart is a real gem as well. I have never seen a person who is so miserable. I have been into the post office several times to try and remedy the issues stated above and have not even had a somewhat pleasant exchange with this man. I watch him grumble and have condescending exchanges with local customers who are all fighting the same issues as I am. He usually tells me “i don’t know where your package is, or has also told me that he cannot track my package even with my provided tracking number. What do you mean you can’t track my package? YOU’RE THE POST OFFICE FOR GODS SAKE. All because of this terribly ran and operated post office. It’s a shame to see. Getting your passport is no better, and a terrible experience with Mr. Stuart. I have resorted to now shipping packages to my work in Bozeman so I do not have to deal with the Belgrade Post office. In terms of the other employees that work there, i have had nothing but good experiences. I cannot remember their names off of the top of my head, but there are two lovely ladies that will be more than happy to help you. This review is not targeted at them, however the postmaster and the leadership of this taxpayer funded program. If you want a poor experience, horrible customer service, and an experience that will make you want to pull your hair out, use the Belgrade Post office.
