Easiest experience I have yet to encounter. I messaged into Rider website on a weekend on a couple subies, got a call back within minutes and test drove the next day. Mitch is a straight forward, down to earth guy. The experience was not a pressured one whatsoever, in fact it was quite pleasant and fun! Mitch went over and above for my trade in and I am beyond pleased with my new 2017 Subaru Forester purchase. Car was ready to go for me, and the paper signing with Nikki was flawless and fast. HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Thanks so much Mitch!!!

Bought my new to me 2014 GMC Sierra from Rider Motors on 2/14/24. Sales staff was very professional and knowledgeable. It was an excellent no pressure buying experience. Quality excellent Priced vehicle. Very user friendly website

I, too, am a consumer negatively impacted by the business of Rider Motors. Read the reviews about how they handle pre-sale vehicle inspections. Shady practices have led to us being 5 months into a terrible experience with no actual resolution. The purchased vehicle looked fine by our inspection, and the dealer, Mitch, presented a clean inspection sheet, that was somewhere along the lines falsified. They knew about the engine issues with our vehicle before selling it to us, and hid it from us, leaving us very much in the hole and not in the graces of the warranty company National Auto Care. You aren’t a customer that will be taken into good care here, don’t go, even if it’s the exact make and model and mileage you were looking for.

We purchased a Subaru Outback from Rider Motors and Nicki was the salesperson who helped us. I really appreciated that she never made us feel pressured to buy anything. She was super friendly, patient, and professional. The Subaru was definitely a good price and in great condition compared to the cars I had seen at other dealerships. I recommend Rider Motors to others looking for a great deal on a used vehicle.

I had a great experience at Rider Motors! I found a reasonably priced car that was in excellent condition. Nicki, the employee who helped me, was friendly and professional throughout the process. I did not feel pressured to buy, as can be the case at some used car dealerships. Overall, this was the best car-buying experience I've had so far.

I can't speak to anything except the service from the guy I spoke to. He was honest and no BS. Straight to the point and helpful. I asked him a bottom line price, and he got right back to me with a fair offer. I went with another vehicle, but I appreciated the way he worked.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have never felt more cheated and scammed in my life. I bought me car for 8k and have had to pay also that much in repairs. Haven't even had it a year only put less than 30k miles on it and I already have to replace the catalytic converter and air mass flow sensor. I was told of minor repairs they had done to it but i was not told or warned about anything else. Ive had to bring it into the mechanic every month. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

I bought a 2012 Toyota Highlander from Rider Motors a few months ago. The Highlander runs perfectly and has zero issues! I was able to drive to and from Wisconsin no problems and hope to take another road trip here soon. Nikki was great to work with and was able to work around a few issues I had with my finances. I highly recommend these guys!

This is the place that makes the stereotypical "sleazy used car salesman" reputations true! When I ask if I can have a used vehicle inspected, it's so I understand what I am potentially buying. The Rider agent said they "already had it all checked out but they never gave us the inspection report...". So, I did some checking. The owner (Mitch) then confessed in a long-winded and borderline rude phone call that the inspection report is in his personal briefcase and that I can't have it and that the inspector reported issues that he didn't agree with and on and on and on. I won't be buying that vehicle or any other vehicle from Rider and I would suggest that everyone followup on any Rider-anyone claims of "all checked out".

My wife and I had not purchased a new to us vehicle since 2005 so getting back into the game was not something I was looking forward to. After test driving a few and not being impressed we saw a vehicle on car fax that fit the bill that was on Mitch’s lot. I called him and told him I’d be on my way from Helena to check it out. To make a long story short I liked the vehicle and knew my wife would love it. I like Mitch’s no bull attitude. He tells it like it is. He was completely upfront with anything that he thought was an issue. Which was not much anyway. A somewhat older vehicle with very very low miles. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase. The one thing that Mitch couldn’t promise us is that we would not receive any more annoying spam calls trying to sell us extended warranties after we did purchase one. Sorry Mitch, I had to throw that in there. All jokes aside we are very happy with our purchase and very pleased with the service. If we decide to look for another vehicle in the future, we will be going back to Mitch at Rider Motors.

Last fall my wife's car was rear ended and totaled out by the insurance company. We had been slowly looking for a new vehicle to replace hers and we must have looked at about six or seven different lots. Everywhere we went, it was the same story, it felt like. Cars that were way beyond our price range, or being oversold for their value.On a whim we decided to drive by Rider Motors and see what was on the lot. I am so glad that we did! We met Nikki and she was the most awesome person to work with. She was attentive and actually listened to what we wanted from a purchase. She did not immediately try to upsell us or put us into something outside of our price range. We explained our situation with the insurance company and where we were at. Immediately she took a few notes, let us know what she had in mind, and showed us a few vehicles.We test drove two and fell in love with the Nissan Murano. We did let her know we were looking at a few other vehicles and that we would be in touch. At no point did she try to give us some gimmicky sales pitch to hustle us into purchasing the Murano, she was cool, calm, and very easy to work with the entire time.When we found out that the paperwork for our loan was going to be delayed just a bit, we called her to let her know, and again, everything was extremely laid back. At no point did she stress out or make us feel as if we were wasting her time.When it came time to sign paperwork, she had everything ready, even washed the car and polished the headlights. I think we were in and out in under 30 minutes. From the moment we walked in to Rider Motors my wife and I felt as if we were talking to old friends. Unfortunately Mitch was out of town so we weren't able to speak to him directly, however he took the time to call us and ensure that everything was going according to plan. After visiting quite a few lots and being given the run around and hassled, or outright ignored, it was nice to be treated as humans with Rider Motors.When we asked questions about the car, they were promptly answered. When we were discussing numbers and values, everything about the car was laid out, nothing hidden.If this is the level of service we can expect from Rider Motors, we will certainly be back and I would happily recommend them!

I haven't purchased a vehicle from Rider Motors at the time of this review, however I have dealt with the owner while looking for a vehicle. I received top notch service, professionalism and most importantly, honesty. If you are looking to receive any of that during the car buying process, you need to visit this dealership.
