We owned a unit with them for nearly 5 years. We upgraded to a much larger unit mid 2020 and put our entire apartment in there and moved to Missouri. In late 2021, we were passing back through Missoula MT in October and got a few things from our unit. We made the mistake of informing them we had found a place in Missouri and were saving up to move our things to Missouri, so we might be a bit late. Thinking that they were being nice because they only sent one late payment email in Nov., we were wrong. Called to pay it beginning of January and they had already sold it out from under us. UNDERSTAND that the Montana law says they have to give you 7 days notice and tell you where the auction would be. They not only didn't do this but I have proof they left the date n location for an auction blank because they send that threat with every email they do. And in this case, we only received 1 email in November and nothing after. They tried to claim they sent a letter to the Missouri address on file, but they had not, not the emails either! It was shady and hurt our whole family. I'd highly recommend to just not even use storage units. They are a complete scam! In every other situation in life, people are given back their things. I've known someone whose gotten their car repoed and they allowed him to remove all his personal belongings from the car, it was an old beater so he didn't care. But people trying to act like this is "just" business or okay needs to wake up! Its like legal thievery. And even if we would've pursued them in court which we considered, we explored what the results would be and amazingly we'd only get back the money in damages. not our personal belongings. all of my baby stuff, my wife's baby stuff and our kids baby stuff was in there. our marriage license, important documents, sentimental pictures, my wife's dead dads stuff. they don't even have to share the new "owners" name or number with you ... they claimed they tried to reach out to those owners but I have high doubts. 5 years you put trust into a company to keep your belongings safe and they sell all your stuff out from under you. it's a poor excuse for a business. And it's stupid. You want to store your stuff safety? Buy a shed. That's my advice.

Lots of negative changes since they were bought out by an investment firm in October of 2022. Would not recommend.

Tried to get into my unit at 7:00 PM during hours of operation and was unable to. Due to this I was unable to move into my new house. Highly do not recommend.

Beware!!! The units here flood! Just got to my unit and flooded and they said many others! They never sent an email or any notification. Not a safe choice, totally don't care attitude. No help. Just too bad for you. A storage unit implies not exposed to the weather, pretty simple. I am filing a complaint with the city. Many of my things ruined.

Great people working there who care about your moving and storage needs. Easy access and easy to find. Two blocks South of Applebees and Plenty of storage sizes to choose from!
