I was absolutely taken back at how flat out NASTY the woman tending the place was to shoppers. We had lived here in the town for a matter of mere days and this was my first impression of this town. She had a scowl on her face the whole time. I asked about a large ziplock bag full of random measuring cups/spoons for crafts and she said $10. I asked if she'd consider lowering that price and she said if I can't afford it, I don't need it. She acted like the price of everything was coming out of her own pocket but the only thing out of pocket was this whole woman. From her look and attitude to her response to every person, every transaction, every question, she did not need to be out front dealing with customers and literally being the face of a Christian organization. We purchased a few things but 99% of what they were selling you could buy cheaper retail.

This place does great things to help the community. However, they need more friendly and kind workers. Realize it’s probably volunteer so you get what you get. BUT they should not allow rude, crabby women to work there. More than once the same dark haired woman gave me rude comments and gave me dirty looks. May start taking my stuff somewhere else. Just sayin!

The lady working at the cashier desk flat out lied to me about pricing of certain items. Called back later to find the truth. I called her out on deceitful lie. Not a Christian place from my experience. Will never be shopping here again. Would give a 0 out of 5 if possible.

Love this neat little thrift shop, always seems as if i need that one item and behold their it is waiting for me to buy it. Also a great place to recycle items you no longer need but don't want to throw it in the trash. The staff are seniors from the community that volunteer their time for charity, friendly bunch of folks that are a blast to visit.
