Winston Trex Travel Stop is a 24-hour gas station and rest area. It is a nice and clean place with clean restrooms and a mart offering lots of foods and drinks to choose from, including a country cafe. The cafe serves great food like meatloaf sandwiches. The staff is friendly. Overnight parking is available for about 10 trucks, with expansion planned. The facility is being upgraded with a rebuilt parking lot, new fuel pumps, and a scale being built. While the gas station feels kind of old and run down, it is a reliable stop.
Upgraded. Nice new building. Yummy, quick breakfast options. I highly recommend the hash brown/ sausage egg sandwich.

Pleasantly surprised when we stopped here, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff.
