We were on 3rd floor elevator or stairs. Beds were clean and comfortable
Walkability: We were in middle of main street so most shops were within 10 minutes

I have to say, I was very skeptical after reading the reviews. However, the room was clean, well stocked, staff was friendly. No complaints!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Very cool 19th century building updated with modern bathrooms & AC/heat. I liked it that I could open the windows at night when it cooled off.
Walkability: Right in the middle of the historic town of Weston, food, shopping & museums are all within walking distance.

Good location.
Nearby activities: O'Malley's Pub is the friendliest underground irish bar I have ever been lucky enough to visit. Two stages of music, great drinks and food.

Great place to stay in Weston. Will be back again if rooms are available. Fill up quickly, so reserve way ahead of vacation.
Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping and eaterys. Also some of the best wines and tasting r ooms I have ever been to.
Walkability: Extremely walkable. Out the front door, and you are right on Main St, the main shopping area.

Woof. Worth the price?
Room: Spartan at best. No real style, decor strait out of your college dorm. Stains on chairs and bedding. Ahem. Kind of a sheet thing as a curtain. American flag had two holes ripped in it to hang off curtain rods. No real lighting. No headboard, so the cozy stucco wall was a delight. Towels for showering were tiny. Bathroom seemed clean. Heat would shut off periodically. Waking to a cold room was bracing. Oh, that thin blanket helped.
Service: none. Person at reception really couldn't be less interested in our visit. No heat in lobby, so she was even more pleasant and cozy in the brief interchange of pleasantries.
Location in town is perfect. This place could be the show piece of Weston. But it isn't. Too bad. A couple great BB's near the brewery.
Recommend: Hatchery House.
Noteworthy details: The bar off the lobby seems nice.

A very nice historic building with rooms that have been updated but not in a while. Peculiar noises started in the room above us a 11pm. Right in the heart of town.

Great location to downtown shops and bars. Cocktails in the bar were fabulous! Staff very nice. The rooms are very dimly lit. If they could add more lighting and a second mirror it may help alot. The weekend price is steep for what you are getting. If they could just improve a few things it would make it more worthwhile. Weston needs some more lodging at an affordable price.Rooms: Poorly lit. If you have more than one person getting ready to go out, a second mirror is a must

Older hotel with small rooms, but still very nice and clean. Great location within walking distance of anything you could want or need. Been there several times and will continue in our future trips. ?

Rooms: The rooms are basic but comfortable. The hotel was built in 1845. Wi-Fi was available the entire time, and the TV had quite a few channels to choose from.
Nearby activities: Right in the middle of Main Street, so the shops and restaurants are all around and within easy walking distance.
Walkability: A few hills but mainly flat streets

My wife and I stayed for one night for a quick getaway. The BnBs were all booked so I grabbed a room here. I didn’t read reviews and on the way up my wife was a little worried based on some recent 1/2 star reviews. Turned out everything was just fine, our room was clean, we had a coffee maker, A/C was cold. It’s a 100+ year old building not a new build Marriott, it’s going to have quirks and occasionally a maintenance issue. We thought it was fine and enjoyed our stay and it was great to be a short walk from Weston Brewing (tour is awesome!) and Pirtle winery and all the shops.

Price is in no way equivalent to the quality of rooms or service. Room has paint peeling, damages throughout bathroom (dangling shower head, broken toilet seat, etc.), never turned down room for a 3 night stay, no amenities provided in room beyond toiletries, and found a huge sewing needle on the carpet in the room. Location is great though

Rooms: Very nice clean room. Looks as though the bathroom had been redone recently. Large room with King size bed was great!
Nearby activities: Lots of shopping and eating close by within walking distance. The bar in this hotel was great!
Walkability: Walking distance to anywhere in the old downtown Weston. Beautiful town.
Noteworthy details: Beautiful staircase and an elevator for taking your bags up to the room. Just grand!
