Great place to pick up local art. I might be biased, I am one of the artists! But 30 others to choose from also!

Fabulous little spot in Weston, MO, featuring the works of several local artists for purchase. Pottery, paintings, jewelry, glasswork, etc. It's a co-op, so the artists themselves are the ones greeting you and answering your questions and such. We were blessed enough to get to walk in on a day that Lee was working. She was an absolute joy to speak with, and she had some fabulous watercolors showcased for purchase there, too! We very much look forward to future visits there to see what else those creative minds will be bringing in!

Looking for local awesome art? Check out Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery. Watercolors, oils, acrylic, photography, pencil/pen, ceramics, jewelry, wood-turned bowls, handwoven scarfs, just too much to name. Great stroll around area on a Sunday afternoon.

First of all, I'm a member of this cooperative gallery and have been since 2010, so full disclosure. :) But it's a great gallery with some very talented Kansas City-area artists. ALL of the artists are local. I'm one of the furthest away, and I'm from Lawrence. Each of us works 2 to 3 shifts per month, so living within driving distance is a must. We were located in Parkville for many happy years, but we're now enjoying our location in Weston. It's worth the trip.

We were fond of this gallery when it was located in Parkville. I understand their decision to move to Weston, but personally will not be making the trip as much as I would have in Parkville. It's still a lovely gallery with a wide variety of artistic work from jewelry, fiber arts and pottery to photography, paintings, etc. It's a great place to find a gift with a wide variety of prices.

This is a really cool place to find unique gifts. I found myself wishing that I had more wall space for some cool finds. They get their work from artists all over the place and the proprietor stated that they get about 30% of their items from local artisans. Great stuff!!
