The music store is my favorite place to visit on the square to just have fun and play around with musical equipment. They have a variety of instruments and instrument accessories that can bring your playing career to the next level. The people in there are very experienced as well, and offer vast wisdom to you as you browse. Highly recommend you try this place out.

Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable and professional staff. I took in a weird guitar that had all kinds of issues. They went the extra mile to address all my issues, and their labor billing was more than fair. The guitar is set up perfectly, and a joy to play. I trust them, and will be taking a lot of guitars to them in the very near future. Thank you, West Plains Music!!!

This music store is outstanding, they care about their customers and really know their business and you can tell. I dealt with Alex and Jason, they could have charged me $110, to adjust my guitar and resurface my frets but after Jason looked at my guitar and realized the neck was a bit bowed he took it to his workshop, adjusted it to perfection and determined that was all that was needed, the wear in the fret board wasn’t as bad as it looked. They have me a customer for life with that kind of customer service. I drive around an hour to go to this store, I live in Arkansas, we’ll worth the trip. I left two of my guitars to be appraised for insurance purposes, so they do more than just sell and service instruments. Thank you so much.See you today;)

My first time doing a trade in with West Plains Music and they were friendly, honest and fair. Walked out very happy with the deal and a beautiful new Eastman acoustic. Good people and product.

I am guessing it must be pretty tough to make a living in a music store in 2023. I live in Mountain Home, AR and the music store we have sells mostly used equipment. I would love for West Plains Music to move to Mountain Home and set up business so we had a selection like West Plains does now. I went to West Plains Music about 6 weeks ago and talked to the owner about buying a new Fender Guitar. He was very nice to me, but I could tell that his stress load was at 400%. I agree that a store owner should never show their emotions like described in another review here, but we are humans and not machines. I plan to go there tomorrow to buy a new guitar, and I am thankful I only need to drive 45 minutes to get there. If West Plains stops doing business at West Plains Music, then we will all be forced to drive to Springfield Mo to actually touch a guitar we are interested in buying. Just my view of the situation.

Good place, the guitar tech knows his stuff. Very fair prices, talk to them before visiting a box store or ordering online. Keep local music stores alive.

Nice, large store. Manager and staff very nice and helpful. Would have given 5 stars, but can't get money back on returns--only store credit.

What happened here? Been trying to go here the last two days. No note or sign, I've called and called with no answer. I hope everything is all right.
