I would not recommend this shop. Dropped heads off with brand new plugs. Picked heads up with old parts but no plugs. Shop stole $100 worth of plugs and would not make it right.

These guys do great work for a fair price. Had them reman my jeeps crankshaft, press in some bearings and bore out the short block. Now my ole jeeps up and running again.

UPDATED due to deletion Purchased "ready to go" engine that was not paid for. Rust in oil galleys Rust embedded in 2 main bearings, not able to rotate crank Rust embedded in 1 cam bearing Had to replace main and cam bearings Missing oil galley plugs and 2 freeze plugs 5 out of 16 lifters collapsed Mismatched bolts on mains Wrong size valve seals on all valves 1 shim under one valve spring not seated due to spring pocket not opened all the way (cocked up on an angle) I have yet to start this engine at this point of my car project. I suspect that the engine was never hot tanked due to all the rust that I had to clean out by hand. I hope that they at least crack checked the engine. I was told that this engine was internally balanced. I hope that was done correctly, or for that matter, done. I paid 3 grand for a lot of things done to this engine that I doubt was actually done. I got ripped off. I hope this engine is ok when I get to finally start it. I'll never go back to this business again. Ever. I've had previous work done on another engine, and it was fine. But I checked everything when I got it back. No problems. This engine... man, it cost me THOUSANDS to get it back to where it's supposed to be. I got ripped off. Be wary of going to them. I have lost all trust in Kent (owner). And trust is something you don't want to lose in customers. Shame on them. What they gave to me will fall back on them in time.

Kent is a hellva engine builder - He’s built a few motors over the years for me and nothing has ever failed prematurely. He does old stuff too like flatheads….

Everything is good except the umbrella seals weren't cutting it on the exhaust.

Received a 400 pontiac engine that was not usable in the condition it was given to me. Had to put in new bearings and remove rust from inside and out of engine. Machine work done on it was right. I was able to save this rebuild, but it cost me about a grand. Kent is able to call me if he has any questions. He has my phone number. He is also welcome to stop by the house and see where I'm at in putting it back together.

We use this company professionally to machine heads for vehicles we are repairing. The turnaround was really quick and the staff there were super knowledgeable and friendly. Best of all, when I came to pick up the heads, they carried it to my car WRAPPED IN PLASTIC! Meaning it didn't get nasty all over my car (I always put cardboard down and bring plastic because most places make me carry it and its usually very dirty). That extra touch of customer service and attention to detail is why I will keep using them. Cannot say enough good things about their work and their service.
