Drivers are rude. They do not respect other drivers on the road. It is sad.

Jack Cooper transport looks like a company in crisis. They are urgently hiring new drivers, but don’t have trucks for their current roster of drivers. Drivers sit around for hours waiting to get a truck, sometimes they don’t get one at all and are sent home. Even drivers with assigned trucks sit and wait hours on end. The trucks that a new employee will have access to are 30 year old Volvos that are literally falling apart. Dispatch sends out loads that are too big for the trailers they have, so they are constantly reshuffling loads. And as for the training it is fast paced, but grossly incomplete. If you think you can learn to load and operate these 30 year old trailers in just a handful of weeks and then get the privilege to drive outdated and worn out equipment across the country join Jack Cooper.

I handle inventory at a Chevrolet dealership and our vehicles are being bayed at the plant for a while. I have been calling with the VINS and I get a different excuse every time about the vehicles that are showing that they have already departed the plant. It's funny that I fax and email over the paperwork to have a porter go by and pick them up and I don't get approvals to come pick them up but we get the vehicles right after I send the paperwork over. We are already short on inventory and Jack Cooper keeps taking their time.
