“We could not be happier with our experience at Clement. Don't let other dealerships or reviews scare you with fearmongering. As with anything, be prepared, do your research, compare prices, and ask questions- lots of them. Then, make your decision on where to shop. Clement was the only dealership we worked with that was completely transparent with their out the door pricing from day one. All of the other dealerships we contacted only wanted to tell us why their dealership was better and how Clement was trying to pull one over on us, which they did not. Not one of the other dealerships gave me an out the door bid via email. Not one, and I contacted a lot of dealerships. They had a hard time dealing with the fact that Clement's pricing could be lower than them, so they tried fear instead to make us think we needed to switch dealerships. I sent many, many emails in my researching to Stephanie, the internet manager at Clement, and she answered every single question I had. In total, we had 42 emails sent between the two of us. That is dedication (and patience on her end for a very inquisitive, and probably annoying, customer). Based on the out the door price and Stephanie's dedication, we decided to give Clement a shot, and test drove a Hyundai Tucson hybrid. We met Raleigh at the showroom for our appointment. Raleigh was courteous and helpful in getting the process started and taking us for our test drive. When negotiating for our trade-in, the numbers unfortunately didn't work out for us based on what they offered. So we decided to keep our car and take it to Carmax to maximize our trade instead. Raleigh actually was very encouraging about this decision and hoped that we would get a better deal that way. There was no pressure or negativity around this decision on Clement's end, and we all moved on. They also were very transparent with a $400 graduate incentive that I qualified for. It turned out that if we took the incentive we would lose money since we had excellent credit and qualified for a better rate than the standard rate, which this incentive required you to use. They could have been dishonest about this and changed our rate without telling us, but they didnt. They were upfront about it and explained why we shouldn't take the offer. After meeting with Bryce, who was also great to work with in the finance office, and negotiating our warranty, we were on our way. We appreciated Bryce's willingness to negotiate to better fit our budget. In total, we spent about 3.5 hours at the dealership. Not bad at all.
So remember folks, do you research, ask questions, and look at the evidence. You might just find a great deal!”
