Andrew is honest, great to work with, and a very good mechanic. I took my Land Rover to the dealer when my check engine light came on and they told me a whole list of things that needed replaced equaling $3200. I am no mechanic but knew something didn’t add up so I wanted a second opinion. I took it to McCulloch and within a few hours he was able to diagnose the problem as a cracked PCV valve (see picture). My total cost with Andrew was only $380! I’ll be bringing both of my vehicles to Andrew moving forward. Do yourself a favor and skip the dealerships!!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Came to Andrew on a blind referral from another company with a large project that I, honestly, didn’t even know where to begin. I can truly say that Andrew’s mechanical knowledge is only exceeded by his professionalism, honesty and true attention to detail throughout the duration of my time working on this with him. Being the truly honest man he is, he told me what needed to be done right away, what his concerns were in the near future, and what I could wait on. Insisted on me coming by and personally seeing what he was talking about every step of the way to make sure I knew and understood what he meant. I had some mechanical knowledge going in, but I feel much more informed and equipped with my car after having worked with him. If you are looking for a transparent mechanic with knowledge of difficult issues on classic cars, this is your guy. I will be taking all of my classics and my newer vehicles to him from here on out. Thank you, again, Andrew!

I’ve been looking for a relationship with a mechanic for a long time. I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had working with Andrew. He took the time to explain what he believed was going on, what the cost would be and did it all in a way that a pedestrian like me could understand. He was accurate in his time estimate, easy to communicate with and just a super nice guy. I’ll never take a car anywhere else.

I'd driven 800 miles to St. Louis to visit family. On the way the car began cutting out, on occasion going into "limp" mode. Took it to Andrew based on recommendation of a friend. Being 800 miles from home, he could of taken advantage of me. He didn't. He was straight forward, letting me know step by step what he was going to do to fix the problem and the cost. If he thought a proposed solution was a long shot, he said so. Problem fixed!!! Reasonable price. I plan to move back. When I do, Andrew will be my mechanic.

Wow what a great experience I had at McCulloch I will recommend Andrew and his excellent work to everyone!I Drive an older VW Jetta that had a check engine light on for months, then another one came on and I accidentally pulled the font bumper out on a concrete curb. So I went to Two different repair places, one couldn’t find the problem with the engine the other won’t work on VW’s. By a stroke of good luck the second shop referred me to Andrew’s shop.Andrew McCulloch greeted me with a friendly smile and scheduled an appointment for me.As soon as Andrew inspected the car he called me and discussed the results. Because there were several issues that needed repairs he worked diligently on them and kept me updated on everything he was doing. There was never any questions he couldn’t answer and explained exactly what needed to be done and what the cost was.When I drove off the lot in my completely repaired car I was absolutely happy. He was even able to fix the bumper!Thank you Andrew. I will never take my car anywhere else.
