I have had this bank for years but recently the older man always wearing a turtle neck as been extremly rude. I attempted to sign a check over to my wife and he didn't allow it, the next time I tried to deposit her check into her account and he denied me. Yesterday my wife was denied cashing her own check and they are holding it for 7 days. These are things we normally do at this bank on a regular basis but everytime we see this man it feels as if he knows he is going to tell us no before we walk up. Yesterday we were told the bank manager would call us back and they never called.

I have banked with commerce for 25 years and have never had an issue. Always great service when I needed to go in to an actual branch. They take care of their customers, gave me the best rate anywhere on a personal loan to pay for my daughter’s destination wedding. 2 percentage points better!!!!!!

I closed my account with them a few years ago (I went in the the branch and sat with the branch manager) after being unhappy with the bank. I received a letter from debt collector say I owe almost $500 to commerce bank because of a negative balance I left on the account. I told them I no longer have that account and closed back in 2019. I call the Webster groves location and they said they have no record of me closing the account and said I would have to have them a subpoena if I wanted to get proof from them I went into the branch. I’m beyond disgusted with their antics. They allowed my account to be open, after I specifically went into the branch to close it, to gain overdraft fees on an account that shouldn’t have been able to process anything transactions because of the closing. The new branch manager had no desire to help and told me her manager couldn’t help me either.

There really should be a way to let people waiting in drive thru know there will be a 25 minute wait. Insanely long wait times here.

Horrible company. STAY AWAY!! I've tried all week to pay my bill. Reached out to customer service and was lied to. Now magically on the day i'm getting charged late fees my payment goes through. Sh*tty customer service. Sh*tty bank.

Worst banking experience. To cash a check my parents wrote me I had to give my son 2 forms of I'd then pay $8. This is one of many reasons I dont bank here.
