I recently purchased a new car and haven't needed any repair work in awhile, but when I do I will be taking it to B & L. They do good work for fair prices, are honest and upfront, and have some uncanny ability to remember every name and face. Been taking my cars here since 1991 for engine repairs. Ray and his son Ray Jr. have always been honest about telling me what the problem is with the car and what needs to be done to fix it. They'll let you know about how much it will cost before you leave it, then call you with the final price an hour or two later before they start fixing it.I can't recall ever taking a vehicle back because the problem wasn't fixed the first time.The main reason I keep giving them my business is because after being in the Navy from 94 to 98 and only taking my car there twice prior to that, Ray called me by my name and started asking me about the Navy. I was impressed that after five years he remembered my name alone.

This is a locally owned and operated auto repair shop. They get the job done quickly, are honest, and admit it on the rare occasions that we should take the car elsewhere (e.g., to the dealer for strange computer trouble).
