They claim to security cameras, someone on duty and a locking gate, do not. The cameras do not work, there is no one duty, and the gate has no lock and anyone who can walk in. Cahokia Heights police said they have robbed many time. 2 of my units have been robbed and our things were thrown out on the parking lot. The security is so bad anyone can walk in and go to the storage unit. BEWARE!!

Chris Burns helped me to get a storage unit on short notice and with a good deal. Really appreciate his help! The competition didn’t have any person to talk to, all remote.

Chris at A1 U Store It did a great job with our storage locker over the years. He has been very helpful and friendly. This facility is very clean and well maintained.

Both Michael and Chris, the property managers, are as nice as can be and very helpful to me. I really appreciate them. The storage space Chris suggested was just the right size. It we clean, bright, and bug free. I did see one spider when we moved out. Killed it.
I will recommend them to friends. If we need storage again, this is where we'll go.

Consider this storage facility as the anti-Uhaul. You are not a contract number to them. Mike and Chris know my name and will call if one of them spot that I've accidentally left my locker unlocked. At Uhaul, I have to deal with workers who would rather get the transaction done and move on. I had an issue recently where THEIR truck wasn't available until hours later, and they weren't helpful in the least, even as someone who had an existing storage unit. This place values loyalty and will work with you without judgment. I feel like my stuff is in great hands!

A safe and easy way to store your extras!
We’ve been using this storage place for well over a decade, and have never experienced any issues.
The manager Chris Burns and I have had a very good working relationship. He is always friendly, and willing help in any way!

This place is unprofessional. They never answer calls! Never return calls or anything! I’ve been trying to get in contact for weeks and a friend of mine told me they’re are just sitting in front of the office outside in the cart everyday. YOU HAVE CUSTOMERS THAT NEED ASSISTANCE!
