This Murphys sells lottery tickets and all those scratchers. So the older population likes to come to this location to buy and they like to fill up all the gas station spots so they don’t have to walk far. Then they like to stand in the check out line and scratch their scratchers and buy more if they win. If Murphys had any pulse on customer experience instead of the bottom line they would make these gamblers go to a proper gas station and not use all the fuel lines to lessen their walking distance to their scratchers. They have a chronic issue with staffing here and the ones that have stayed on do not care. I mentioned I had to wait 15 min just to be able to get gas because of all the empty vehicles there to buy lottery tickets. I guess the cashier didn’t like that because she literally refused to speak to me the rest of the transaction. Between my wife and I we go here like 3 times a day. So this is our opinion based off going there that much the last 9 months.

2 nd time with the slowest pump in the world. And the rudest little lady as a cashier!! Left went to Casey’s and filled up with no problems….. looks like you lost our business!

When you try to get gas it tries to charge your card $175 for a prepaid authorization. I declined the transaction. Only to get home and find Murphys tried to put the transaction through my credit card company notified me via email and declined tue charge thankfully. If you need to pre authorize over $175 for $20 in fuel then your gas station has a problem and needs to close down.

Charged my account for $20.02 for gas and a $75 charge that did not involve a purchase. I was told by customer service it is policy if you scan a card at the pump it will charge $75 then will charge for the fuel purchase and the $75 will refund after48 hours. Well it over drew my account so now I have 2 over drafts so 8 gallons of gas cost me $$90.02 I was told Your over drafts are not our problem. No you caused the over drafts by a fraud withdraw from my account. I will boycott Murphy's from this day forward. How is this legal?
