“Truck broke down while camping at the MO state park. After trying everything I could think of to get it running I finally had to get it towed. I honestly was very hesitant to call twin lakes because of some of the negative reviews but they were the closest and they had a garage so I took my chances and was very happy I did. They came out on Labor day and towed it to their garage. The next day they looked at it and found the problem was just a blown fuse. They could've easily said it was literally anything else but they were honest and only charged me for the tow and about an hour's worth of service. They definitely do not deserve all the negative comments from what I experienced. I would recommend them to anyone.”
“Had the transmission in my 99 Ford f250 done 3 years ago, no issues whatsoever.
Also took in my Ford Explorer because the transmission was acting up and he told me transmission was fine, needed the catalytic converter replaced. Yep, ran fine after that. Appreciated the honesty.

“This place literally came to the rescue. My mom, sister, 7 month old niece & I were on our way to have a girls weekend with some other family when something got in one of our tires. We were a couple hours away from home and still an hour away from our destination. Road side assistance told us that it would be 2+ hours until someone would even be available to come to our location. Some locals told us about this place & they just happened to be 5 minutes down the road. We called asking them if they could help & they happen to have a spare tire of the exact tire we needed. We aired up the tire as much as we could & headed their way! It was a Friday & closing time but they stayed open to help us. The owner or manager even tried to lower the price than what we were originally told over the phone. He even tried to give us some money back when we gave him more than what he said but we weren’t going to let him after what they did for us! Thank you for helping us in our time of need!!”
