Last month, I hit a deer. My insurance recommended Specialty Auto Body. They had a small wait time, however, once they had my vehicle, they took only 5 days to fix the damage. Great service fast.

My car was hit in my work parking lot, and Dean was very diligent in finding parts for my 20 year old vehicle, communication was good, and the work was EXCELLENT! While on trip from KC to Birmingham, our rear side window got stuck inside the door. A huge safety issue, because we had 2 dogs in the backseat and interstate travel. Plus, our air conditioner was on full blast and it was a simmering July day in Missouri, so we couldn’t keep the car cool enough for the dogs to get comfortable. We had one dog beginning to pant. We pulled into a rest stop and tried unsuccessfully to get the window up. It was a desperate situation because of the heat and the pavement at the rest stop was hot. The dogs could not walk long on the hot pavement, and the car was not too much cooler. That was quickly making us feel desperate. My husband called 3 places in the area and none were able to work on it that day. The fourth call was to Specialty Auto Body & Care, and Gary told us to come on over. He literally saved us and with such kindness. He immediately offered up his air conditioned office to the dogs. While he and my husband were outside with the window, the dogs were able to get the necessary relief in a cool office. Gary was able to get the window up within minutes and then neatly used a strong clear tape to ensure that it stayed shut long enough to get to our destination. He wouldn’t let us pay him. He refused and said that he wished us a safe trip. We tried again to pay him but he said to spend it on treats for the pups! He showed such kindness and humanity, and rescued us. I can’t thank him enough and will pay the kindness forward. I can promise that I will not ever forget the feeling of relief and the compassion that Gary showed us. I would 100% recommend his business. He is the real deal.
