It's a clean and comfortable store with several areas where you can sit and peruse anything they sell. Their employees are friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are competitive. “This hobby shop is probably the most complete and knowledgable hobby shop in the metropolitan area. They have materials and probucts for just about any hoppy of craft that you can imagine and at just about every level of interest from beginner to full on expert. We have shopped for model train parts and plastic models and crafts supplies. Just be sure to give yourself plenty of time to wander around and even find a new hobby to become interested in.”

“This place is fantastic. We stopped in to grab a few small items for our daughter while we are on vacation and we will be back the next time we are in STL. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with some recommendations but also allowed us to explore and find exactly what we were looking for.”
“Always making a stop here when visiting the mall. It's usually pretty well stocked and has a mini fig build station and a small duplo building area for kids. I will say that for some reason it's almost always cold in the store”

The place was so clean and inviting, it’s as if the dust bunnies were on vacation. The staff? Friendlier than a power-up mushroom in Mario. So, there you have it, my epic adventure at GameStop: a whirlwind of browsing, grinning staff, and zero new games in my inventory. ??️?”

“The reason for the review was a recent trip today, we were not part of a birthday party that was supposed to happen but our children still wanted to build a bear. There was no one in the building bear area at the time and the front person asked if we were part of the party which we said no, and they said "well we're mainly a party venue." Which is, from our experience coming here three or four times, 90% inaccurate. I feel like that was the wrong way to approach the situation. It made us feel unwelcomed and honestly very annoyed. If this was just myself coming here in a different scenario I would have walked out. We still got to build a bear and all the other staff were fantastic; it was a typical Build-A-Bear experience. Our kids also love the new climbing structure. I feel like this location needs to be reminded that Build-A-Bear would not be what it is without the walk-in visitor, we end up spending over $140 for just two children.... Living in O'Fallon, Missouri there is no way I would go further when this one is closer to us.”

“What a great little shop in an historic old brick building with a ton of charm. Our plans to go bowling with the kids hit a snag so we went with plan B and went to Frisco Train and Toy Store. There are several train tables set up with all the trains, planes and construction equipment your kiddos could ask for. There is also a wide variety of train sets for sale along with lots of Melissa and Doug play sets. There are areas upstairs for parties as well. We spent an hour and a half playing and left with a bag full of fun at decent prices. It was fairly crowded but all the grandkids loved it and their fellow train enthusiasts all played in harmony.”
