Have purchased mulch from here multiple times, quality has gone downhill. I bought a decent amount of their "kiddie mulch" or playground mulch recently. Which is supposed to be great quality since it's going a on a playground, unfortunately I've never seen so much trash and debris mixed in. I've gotten tons of this from these guys before, but I'll be finding I new supplier in the area. Sad because this seems to be a growing problem with the quality of their mulches.
Also this looks different than any playground mulch I've gotten before. It's darker and looks more chopped with a lot of leaves in it. Not like any I've seen before. Not sure it was even processed correctly

Always a great experience. I am not a contractor, yet I was greeted and treated as a valued customer at the Valley Park location. Holly was friendly and great at the counter. They loaded my trailer and total time spent was 10 minutes which is exceptional. I always have and will continue to recommend STL Compost. Thank you.

Pam left a voicemail confirming my delivery in the voicemail. She mentioned to six times that she needs to make sure a check is ready to go for delivery. We will be outside in white robes, waiting on hands and knees with a check on a 100k gold platter for Pam & Company.

Been going to this location for over 4 years and it has always gone smoothly never had a problem the young women in the office has made it a quick and easy process everytime a lot of props to all of the lady's in the office

I recently put 2 yards of the premium field and turf enhancer in my yard. After a rain I found what you can see in the pictures. This is just some of the trash that was in it. Glass, hard plastic, wire. I can never trust that anyone can walk in my yard barefoot again. I took the items back to the office and the receptionist took the items to a lady in the office. She never came out to apologize or say a word to me. I was offered two more yards for free, this doesn’t correct the problem and I do not need any more on my yard. The receptionist kept the bag of junk and took my name and number down so that the field manager could call me. I never heard a word from them again. Not one apology from this company. This is terrible customer service and a terrible product, this is definitely not for turf that kids will be playing on.

I purchased bagged compost, the office staff was professional and friendly. They have a wide variety of products and the prices are fair. Would recommend this place to anyone!
