“Great mattress store with very high quality beds. The owner will always give you a good deal and make sure you have a quality product at a decent price. Highly recommend their hybrid spring air beds, the most comfy bed I ever laid on. Their beds have better warranties than most chain stores. I highly recommend you try them out before trying to get a bed in a box. I feel the quality is above other big name brands. The beds are just much higher quality for the money. Their hybrids use a serene foam which sleeps cooler than memory foam and is more durable and doesnt change feel in different temperatures like memory foam does. Which is something other stores i have been to dont offer. Its superior to even gel memory foam. The owner won't do you wrong. They have a great selection for most any budget. I am a very satisfied costumer. 5 stars. I will be buying my bedding from here from now on.”

Found the Stearns and Foster in the right firmness quickly and confirmed it was the same as others tried out elsewhere. Brought the truck that same day and they even tied it down! (They do offer delivery for a small additional charge). I cannot believe I was about to settle for something else I didn't really want/need at the big box stores. “I visited many stores before I showed up to Chesterfield Mattress Direct. I walk in and was immediately greeted by Zac, who was a very friendly easy going person who did not pressure you to buy, or bothered while you shopped but was ready to answer any questions I had. It took me three trips to the store to decide, each trip was very pleasant experince. He explained the different mattress types that would work best for side sleepers, what you look for in a pillow and how important the base is to a new bed. He explained MD was a local family owned company who been in business for many years. He reviewed all the warranty information for Serta and MD which is good to know. Overall, it was a very informative and pleasant visit to the store, if your looking for a mattress you should stop by the store and talk to Zac. Thank you for awesome experience.”

“This is a life saver for my back trouble. I went to the store 4 times until I was sure which chair would work best with my specific needs of both sitting up straight for meditation and being fully reclined in zero gravity. Tara and Lisa were wonderfully resourceful with helping me brainstorm to reach the right decision. My experience was so positive also because they were personable and generous with their time. When you are struggling with a physical challenge this kind of shopping experience makes all the difference. Buying such an individually tailored product online would have ended up in something like too short of a backrest, or a seat without sufficient cushioning or not enough support. The possibilities are almost endless. So I am glad I took my time and patiently returned to the store to compare models and sit in the close contenders long enough to be able to choose the winner.”

“Read this review carefully. We gave the store 5 stars. Our sales person, Ben, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, he was kind, and did not try to push anything super expensive on us. We had done substantial research prior to arrival at the store, but did not disclose that to Ben, our sales person. When we arrived, we were greeted, offered waters, and then jumped right into finding our sleep number. We were placed on a bed with a screen over head. Ben adjusted our firmness to our liking with patience, as it was slight changes that were initially hard to distinguish. Once we felt supported and comfortable, the screen on the ceiling showed us our pressure points prior to adjustment, and then our pressure relief after adjusting. I've had multiple back surgeries, so spine relief was very important to us. The sleep number showed how pressure was relieved on my lower back, and for those who are skeptical this could be a gimmick, it's been fantastic so far. Once our sleep number was found, we were shown a middle-higher end bed, got comfy in it, and then given a brochure of comparisons of all of the beds with prices included on them. Our salesperson gave it to us, and let us have about 5-10 minutes to ourselves to look over everything and discuss options--we already knew what we wanted, but this was very nice for the common person who may not know what they want or what's in their budget. Ultimately, yes, we did end up getting the top of the line, climate 360 bed. We were able to try the bed we wanted and test all of the features. We checked out, got approved for financing, 48 months zero interest, and bedding, pillows, sheets, etc. This process was phenomenal and easy. NOW, for the not so good part of this review. We were told delivery would be within 5 days, and scheduled a date. We were ecstatic! However, things are too good to be true. We were cancelled on our delivery the day of, after we both had taken off work for the delivery. We were super upset, but fine, we get companies are short staffed. However, we were then given a second delivery date 2 weeks later. Yet again, we took off work for the delivery, and this time, we were cancelled day of, but didn't even receive a phone call this time to notify us of it on the day of. This time we were extremely mad, and tried calling every corporate number we could to get a resolve. Nothing from anyone high up. But you know who came to the rescue for us? Ben, our salesperson at the Des Peres store. He got in touch with everyone he could in the corporate chain and fought for us. He got us significant money off, threw in anything he could to try to make this right, and got us a delivery date as soon as he could. Now, for the third time trying, sleep number finally got it right. Our installation was perfect, easy, and very helpful for us with the app and how to use our bed. Our bed is set up now and absolutely everything we could ask for and more! All and all, we had an amazing sales experience with Ben--5 stars.. The delivery scheduling/installation scheduling, gets an absolute negative stars rating--negative 5 stars. And the installation process, once finally corrected, 5 stars! The installers were professional, thorough, and on time of the delivery window. All and all, we recommend this store, highly recommend Ben, and getting a sleep number. Just be prepared for an absolute nightmare of a delivery date”
“Go here for mattresses. They have a good selection of price effective beds with good supporting structures(delivery, return, etc). Just make sure you get the size you want, because size is the only thing you can't return upwards for. The rest is all fair game”

“After 30 some odd years it was time to buy a new mattress. Went to half a dozen stores in the area, the search process turned tedious! Nathan in the Sunset Hills store, then Arnold store made the difference and was outstanding in working with me till the final sale. Very supportive and knowledgeable to take the fears in the final decision to select the right mattress. At the end, there are many good mattress stores in the area, however the relationship established with Nathan made the difference to select the store, mattress and reassurance that there will be full support after the sale! ?”

“Shopped at the Valley Park location. What made this a great experience was the vast variety of items, able to see not only the furniture but accessories first hand as opposed to buying online. The sales team was extremely helpful as well. We ended up buying many items. Steve Schluter did a great job for us.”
