I joined STL Thrive six months ago, and it has changed my mind and body in a very positive manner. I have found all of the trainers to be extremely knowledgeable, caring, supportive, and nonjudgmental. The equipment and the floors are always clean and well-maintained. If a particular exercise causes pain in one of my joints, the trainers quickly substitute another maneuver. I have never been injured thus far. I’ve gone to gyms for decades, and by far this is the best place I’ve ever been.

The best gym in town!! My wife and I have been members here for over 5 years and it has been one of the best decisions that we have ever made. I love how the workout programs are individually tailored to my goals and current level of fitness. The trainers here really know their stuff, and they are masters of explaining the how and why of each exercise they give me. In addition to the personal training aspect, there are multiple bootcamps during the week that we try to take advantage of as well. They also offer yoga sessions, although those are typically during the day (I can never make it to those). I love that it is locally owned. There is a strong community feeling when you walk into the gym. Being a member at Thrive STL is definitely worth every penny.

Thrive STL is amazing! Throughout undergrad and now grad school, Thrive has been my stress reliever for the past few years. The trainers create personalized programs that meet the needs of everyone who walks through their door. I’m in the best shape of my life! The atmosphere is supportive and friendly. The team at Thrive makes it enjoyable to workout at 5am - something I never thought I would say! I was a competitive athlete in high school and college, but after two kiddos and a pandemic, it was time to get back to the gym and build strength. The team at Thrive has made it fun and easy, and I feel so much stronger and energized since joining Thrive.

I have three requirements for joining a gym. It has to be:1. close to home2. within my budget3. not intimidatingThe membership for Thrive is expensive, but when I step back to fairly assess - convenience, tailored programs, regular assessments - it’s clearly worth it.I love this little gym. Its culture is encouraging, light-hearted, and community-oriented. You’ll meet people at all different fitness levels here, where caring and smart trainers have pushed me toward a stronger, healthier version of myself. My husband is also a member and, because of his customized programs, has overcome chronic piriformis and SI joint pain he’s struggled with for almost a decade, and you can’t put a price tag on that.The only drawback I can point to is that Thrive’s space is small, but the owner and trainers are careful to limit how many work out at once.My 40s regularly prove there’s nothing more valuable than one’s health. So I’m investing in mine now before the medical bills force me to.Shout out to my 7am crew! Y’all make it a lot of fun!

I've been a member at Thrive STL for a year and love it there! All of the trainers are fabulous. I look forward to my workouts every time I go in. The personalized program makes all the difference and I've seen great results in gaining strength and toning up!

Debbye is wonderful. She gently pushes you but within your physical restrictions. No two workouts are ever the same so you can’t get bored. Debbye is upbeat, positive and very knowledgeable. I would encourage people of all ages and abilities to give Thrive a try. They will help you meet your fitness goals, whatever they might be.

I have been training with Debbye Roman (the new owner) and love working with her. The changes she has made to the club are fresh and the community spirit is amazing!
