“I love this humane society location. They work with me very well on accepting straight animals since I am not a licensed rescue. They provide intake dates ahead of time so that you can plan. They are very small so they can't accept a lot of animals. But they do get them adopted out in various locations fairly quickly. So the animals don't sit in the shelter for a long time. They do have some working cats or barn. Cats occasionally whereas most other shelters will just euthanize them. Many people keep spreading rumors that they are not a no-kill shelter. And that they euthanize, this is not true. I brought many animals there that were still scared and not entirely friendly. But we're adoptable and they've never euthanized any of them. If they have an issue i'm notified and I can take the kitty back and socialize it a little bit more. I am an official foster and they work very well with me. Providing food and medication for the animals I foster. Staff are very kind and very efficient, but extremely busy because they are a smaller location and they are rural, but also highly needed.”
