This is one of the best places around for a one-stop shop to get a single purchase or stock up on bulk items at a great price. There is a wide variety of products from grains and everyday kitchen essentials to bulk popcorn, homemade candies and chocolates and more. It definitely evokes a sense of nostalgia when walking through the aisles. Highly recommend and will continue to visit here again in the future.”

I would certainly grant their pizza to be the best around. Don’t go to Pizza Hut, Casey’s, or some other run-of-the-mill pizza joint, Bates grocery store gas station has the greatest pizza that you will ever eat in your life. And that’s a fact.”

“The best Reuben I have ever had. The sauerkraut was delicious, and the huge amount of meat was tender and delicious as well. The deserts are wonderful. I have been there 3 times and each time was an experience in good eating, friendly service, and very reasonable prices.”
