I have taken my car in twice now to get repaired and they never called to tell me what was wrong with it or give me a price quote. I had come in with what I thought was a smaller issue and I dropped my car off they call me awhile later and tell me they welded on my car and for some reason it took them a hour and a half and I had to pay $200 they did not tell me before hand and I did not give the ok for them to do it. I’m royally upset

Yes u do understand the frustration when you are trying to rob people.! You failed it for ball joints and control arms that were like new. We took it to another shop and gave them your inspection to look over. IT PASSED WITHOUT ISSUE. They also think your crooked. Terrible small town business practice, I hope it bites you.

We attended their little Halloween celebration and we're blown away at how friendly and kind these people were. I had this event for the kids in the neighborhood out of their own hearts and out of their own pocketbooks. The kids all had a really good time and enjoyed the prizes and the food. When my car needs servicing these will be the first people I call

Even through complications of the repair, there was always a professional and positive attitude along with fair pricing. I would definitely recommend Dillon's to anyone.

Deliberately damaged my car in an attempt to get more money out of me. Brought a car I recently purchased for a safety inspection. The car ran good, the motor sounded good, no problems at all and I expected to pass with no problems. Not long into the inspection the man performing the inspection comes in and tells me that the brake lights on the car are staying on and because of that I will fail. He said he could fix it and that he charged upwards of $130 an hour just to find out what was wrong with it and that it could take 30 minutes to over an hour to figure out the problem. I declined because I used most of the money that I had saved on purchasing the car and only had a few hundred left. I was confused because I never had a problem with the brake lights staying on but told him to proceed with the safety inspection in case there was anything else wrong with it. After about 30-45 minutes the receptionist came and got me to checkout. I also thought this was strange because the person who does the inspection usually talks to you after it is over. When I went to check out with the receptionist she said the brake lights stay on (which she handed me a piece of the car that had "fell" off), there was a problem with two exhaust hangers, and there was a problem with the drivers side ball joint. Ball joints are easy fixes but typically cost about $1,000 to fix because it takes longer. I went outside and saw my brake lights were still on by themselves. When the mechanic said that the brake lights stay on, I thought he meant for a few seconds while driving because that is the only way that it could have stayed on without me noticing since it had been in my driveway for two days while waiting for my inspection appointment. I was very upset and began to get suspicious of this business because this was not a problem before I went in. I didn't go back in because I did not trust them, but immediately made an appointment with my regular mechanic to get it checked out. On the drive home it was a completely different car, drove rough, vibrated, and made noises that were not there before the "inspection". I took it to my regular mechanic when I got paid again and come to find out, there was nothing wrong with it except for problems that seemed to be intentional. The exhaust hangers had been unhooked, a part of the brake was missing which made the brake lights stay on (which was an easy fix by my regular mechanics), and there was no problem with any of the ball joints. My car passed inspection and my mechanics fixed what Dillon's tampered with. Please take into account that my regular mechanic whom I will not name for anonymity purposes, is a very reputable business in Troy. I only scheduled an inspection with Dillon's because my regular mechanic is very busy and there is typically a longer waiting period. I figured that an inspection was easy and thought I would have no trouble doing the inspection at another business. Unfortunately, I was incorrect. An inspection that should have costed me $12 ended up costing $150 just to be told that there was nothing wrong with my car besides the fact that it seems that the car was deliberately tampered with during the inspection. The bottom line is that Dillon's Automotive is lacking the human decency to be honest and would rather make money on innocent people than do their job. As for the owner’s response, they unfortunately do not take responsibility for their actions. Arguing with customers will not help your image or get them to take their review down. I am not bad-mouthing, simply sharing my fact-checked experiences. The owner’s should check their grammar. It’s I’m not I,m, there is a space after the comma, and always remember to capitalize after a period. :)Service: Vehicle Inspection

I had my car towed here for a simple repair I only got 2 blocks away and my car caught on fire under the hood, I would not recommend them to do any work to your car because they caused mine to catch on fire and my car was a total loss!!
