I have taken animals here in the past, and most recently I had took my elderly Chihuahua for a dental cleaning. She was checked in promptly and was ready to go as scheduled that afternoon. They did four extractions, and sent her home with pain medication and antibiotics. She was eating that night just fine, and recovered with no issues. The reason I’m leaving this review is because it was such a great value to get this done for their reasonable, very, very reasonable pricing. I wish my dental care was that affordable. And while it isn’t a super fancy place, I will say that the people that are working there seem to genuinely care about animals and their health. We love our pets as we love our families, sometimes more depending on your family, lol, and this place truly does treat your pets like you would hope for. Thank you so much!!!!!

I had a great experience kola my 2 and 1/2 month old went and got his shots and they took care of my boy made sure he was all good and taken care of before we left. They are also affordable. They checked him for parvo and then after that came back negative he was able to get the rest of his check up. I will definitely be taking my other two boys. The people are also very nice and amazing. Specially Alexis she was so helpful with taking good care of kola even tho he didn’t like getting tempted and swabbed. Roughly a $140 visit not to bad ?? will definitely be recommending them.

We adopted a puppy through AVC and they were so kind and helpful. Our puppy came to us fully vaccinated and neutered. We’re so grateful to AVC for helping us grow our little family!

Brought my dog in months ago and was made very much to feel like my dogs only option was a treatment that was incredibly lengthy & expensive requiring multiple times a week when i expressed that was out of budget it was pretty clear the vet was trying to cut our appointment short not even adressing the other concerns i had for my animal. Yesterday i took my dog to a different vet to have her euthanized only to find out her issues were treatable with oral medications
There are affordable options they CAN offer you however they won't offer them for whatever reason. Saving my dog cost me a slightly longer drive and $20 more than the "treatment" from affordable vet care in Trenton.

So first off, I DO NOT leave reviews for companies (mostly due to lack of time) unless they truly impress me. And affordable pet care has absolutely impressed me. By now, me and my wife have brought all 3 of our cats to see Shelby and her crew, and we will NEVER go anywhere else. The service is so incredible, they truly care about your animals and the customer service is just amazing. When I have to drop off my pets, naturally, I'm worried how things will go. But with this place, I will never worry again. I can't stress enough how great my service has been with this vet, and again, I am very hard to impress! Lol. I would recommend them to anyone, the service is great, the price is great, and the customer service is unmatched. They call you and give you updates about your pets throughout the day. I've taken 1 female cat there to get neutered, and 2 male cats to get neutered as well, which was very scary for me and my wife, considering our pets are our babies. I will never worry again when my pets are in their care. This company and it's entire crew are amazing. You're dumb if you live in the lovely town of Trenton, Missouri and take your pets anywhere else. That includes the weird guy who owns the company next door. Don't get it confused. The good one is the one behind the other. Just saying.

The place is fine if they can get you in. We were trying to bring our dog in for urgent care and they kept telling us they can give us an appointment in a week from when we went into there. This dog that needed it and was elderly and didn’t have much time left so we needed to know what we should do. I then called another vet in the area and they told me to bring the dog in even though I didn’t have an appointment and they were busy. However they made it all work unlike Affordable vet care did.
Edit: Just saw your reply, you were not asked to “move mountains” you were asked if there was any time available that you could’ve gotten our dog in hoping you would try within the next 3 or so days because she was getting worse. Also we didn’t show up because I had called and said hey something came up could we reschedule and the staff said the next available opening would be in a week and this dog couldn’t wait a week so i decided to call Honey Creek on the 8th and the staff was super nice and told me to bring the dog in we’ll find time and they did exactly that! So if you have an emergency with your pup I recommend Honey Creek in Trenton, Mo.

I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER ONE OF MY ANIMALS TO THIS CLINIC!!! Yesterday we took our American Bully to get spayed. They mislabled her calling her a pit bull, she is not. The vet asked 1 or 3 year rabies shot? We answered that we want the 3 yeart shot. She was given the one year shot, then argued about what we requested. They did not listen to our advice to keep her away from the other dogs, which causes her anxiety. Then they loaded her with seditaves, and didn't give them ample time to take effect on a high strung dog. They did not spay our dog like we requested. They could have done the prosedure if they would have given the meds time to kick in. They even charged us for their failed attempt to spay our dog (the meds). When we got our dog back she was so stoned and dosile she could hardley walk, and fell asleep climing into the car. This place is a god*mn scam!!! Now we get to wait for over a month to have a different vet office do the work these people failed to do. Earlier this year, I took my daughers male cats to get neutered. We did not know that this had already been done before adopting them. They called and told us they were girls, so we ok'ed them to be spayed. Then they call back to tell us they cannot find the female repoductive parts inside one of the cats. These morons failed to visually inspect my cats genitals before preforming a surgery that was completely unneeded, then charged us for it!!! I was going to leave it alone, but after yesterday, I have to voice my opinion of this terrible clinic. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED PETS HERE!!!

I took my cat in there for struggling to breathe. I was afraid he had aspirated. They spoke to me about the option of X-rays and blood work before the vet had looked at my cat. After listening to his chest and look over his face the vet came to the conclusion it was most likely an upper respiratory infection. I was given antibiotics and a dewormer (he did have worms). By the time another 24 hrs had gone by I knew something more was wrong. In less than 48 hours I had taken him to another vet. Where he had to be euthanized. My cat although almost a year old hadn’t grown and was the size of a 4 month old kitten. The unionville vet did one X-ray and saw that his organs to had not grown right. His lungs were collapsed and his chest cavity filled with fluids. There was no way he could continue to sustain a descent life. And I had to make the choice to put my best friend out of his misery. I watched gasp for air for almost two days. I watched him starve as his esophagus was being crushed and he couldn’t eat. I watched him suffer because these guys didn’t bother to care. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. After about a week and a half I went back to ask that my money be returned as if brought my cat there for help and they did no such thing. Even though the vet convinced me he just had a damn cold I was told it was not there fault he suffered and died and refused to return my money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!
