I got the Wheel Deal today on my mom's car as a thank-you to her for letting me borrow it while visiting from out of state. I really am not impressed. It's a manual transmission so the manager had to drive it thru the wash, but once I left and got back to my house, I really saw how much dirt was missed. The entire roof of the car was never wiped off (dirty) and the borders of window glass all were dirty. The insides of the windshield and back glass had entire patches of dirt and smears left behind. $33 + $6 tip for a dirty car! I would like someone to contact me about this...I don't have time to return for a re-do as I am leaving again, but would like this car cleaned properly for my mother. When I lived in STL I was a very loyal customer of Waterway, so this is disappointing. Thank you.Service: Auto detailing

The Lamp and Lantern location is unreliable and extremely slow. Car is never as clean as when we go to Kirkwood or Creve Coeur. Disappointing service here

Went in looking for a quick wash, ended up buying their "The Whole Thing" package. My car was sparkling, inside and out! They vacuumed up all the sand that was leftover from a vacation (my least favorite chore). Took about 20 min but there is a waiting room. My back wiper blade did come off in the wash, but Brooke and Andrew handled the situation beautifully! Waterway is fully reimbursing the replacement, no questions asked!! Will definitely be returning. Great people, great wash!

Service has been declining, prices have been going up, and current managers are not supportive of their staff. Used to be my go to car wash.

First time coming in the other day and it was absolutely marvelous. My car was dirty and they got it looking super clean. Also want to give a shout out to Colin(I think that was his name he had very gorgeous curly hair). He came up and talked to me outside when I was struggling to figure out how to use the gas pump and we just had a lovely conversation about Waterway and himself. He also asked me if there was anything he could do to make my experience more pleasant. He truly is the prime example of customer service! He is a great young man and I hope that everyone that goes to waterway gets to meet him!

This waterway is horrible. I was told by the "manager" that they are not a detailing place, they only wipe down to the best of their ability. I paid for the highest level of service. I had to point out things that were easily wipeable with my finger! He stated many of the dirt was due to sunscreen, sorry sir you are wrong. He also stated that he thought my car got egged. Again sir you are wrong. Other waterways do better. Do NOT go here unless you want to be ripped off. The manager is not customer service oriented nor does he care that you are not pleased with the service.

The interior cleaning is a scam. When I pointed out all the spots that they had not touched and the smudge on the screen, he told me they are not detailing and I could not expect 100%. They charged $44. I am uploading p

Been coming to this waterway location for 9 years, I had just bought my subaru legacy and went to waterway to have it taken care of, unfortunately while going the through the car wash, it ripped off the back of my driver's side mirror and part of the assembly, filed a incident and got a call back today that they wouldn't be paying for it since they have a sign somewhere (I'm sure in small print hidden) that says if you're car is 10 years or older they're not responsible for any damage. I won't be returning to any waterways. Very disappointing. Won't be cheap to replace.

I had to tell them to wipe down my seats and they didn't touch my trunk in my suv. It was full of dirt.

It was my first visit and was a bit out of the way for me, but it was completely worth the drive. I was delighted with the friendly service at Waterway Carwash! The service was also speedy for the price. Therefore I consider it unbeatable for an unlimited amount of quick exterior washes and interior vacuums. When I pulled up with my out-of-state license plates, the staff welcomed me to STL! And when I walked into the store to pay, the young lady greeted me to STL as well, stating her other co-worker had just told her that I drove in from out-of-state! Like seriously, where can you find a service like this today?!!! The staff is a rare treasure indeed! They also took the time to explain their membership programs in great detail to ensure I receive all the benefits that come with the monthly plan of my choice. They did miss a few spots, but as I said, the monthly membership is for unlimited quick interior washes and vacuums, not a full-blown interior detail. I honestly can not speak enough about how welcoming, professional, courteous, and efficient the young staff members are! I will be back!

Abysmal customer service. As a very long time member, I have to say the customer service has really changed over the years! Waited in line forever to get a car wash because the person in front of me was signing up for a membership. I’m not sure that the car wash line is the place to sign up for a membership. Staff should politely ask the individual to pull through the car wash, then sign up for a membership so as not to hold up the line. And after wasting my time, and not being able to go through the car wash and speaking to a manager…the least they could’ve done is offered me a free wash or wheel deal (or something) the next time I am able to come in.Even though I live right by this location, I will not be returning to this location. Hopefully, the other locations have better customer service!
