11403 St Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton“Branneky may be the most helpful hardware store on Earth. They have about anything you may need and their skillful staff at the service desk is glad to help anyway they can to get your job done. No other hardware store offers the services and products like Branneky. If you're a tradesman in STL, you need this ace up your sleeve.”
“Very friendly people who are good at asking questions. One time they gave me 30% off each tool I had instead of only 1 tool like was advertised. This is the only harbor frieght for me!”
“I Loved this little place! I will start coming in here more often now to help the small business man stay strong. Everyone that worked there made sure I was taken care of, I like that. I filled up my rv propane tanks, I was in and out in no time.”

9065 Watson Rd, St. Louis“I love Ace Hardware in Crestwood. Friendly, helpful staff and great coupon savings. The variety of products to choose from are impressive. 5 stars all the way.”
“This is a really great store with great customer service. I went in yesterday for screws to help fix my broken chair and after explaining my situation I was assisted by Austin who took the time to help me find the screws needed to fix my chair. He was very professional and very helpful. My shopping experience here was successful and easy.”
“I Had 2 Lawnmower Blades Sharpened There. Excellent Job They Did. Great Friendly Staff and The Hardware is Loaded with All Types of Hardware Items including hard to find Items. I Love this Place.”
“The little neighborhood hardware stores are always amazing. Though it's a small store, I'm pretty sure they have more products that I'm looking for than the big box stores. Always helpful and super knowledgeable!”
“I just had to say how refreshing it was to be treated like a valued customer. I called the store 10 minutes before closing and Lucy, the associate was so kind and helpful and made me feel like she truly cared about my questions and she was able to answer my questions (she really knew her products). She suggested I come in to visit today if I had time. I went to the store this morning and was greeted by John, another wonderful associate. I explained that I had called the day before and would like to see the Natural Gas Weber Grille with 3 burners. He showed me the model they had on the floor, which was for propane but offered to show me the natural gas model that they actually had in the back and used for company cook outs. It was just perfect! I can't believe the only two associates I had come into contact with were so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure I was getting all of the information I needed. I was elated. John sent me to the front to check out while he helped someone else for a moment. Lucy was there waiting for me with all of the delivery information etc. Another gentleman answered a question for Julie about timing for the delivery and he was wonderful also. I have to say, that was my first time in an ACE store, but it won't be my last. They totally spoiled me! I have never been treated like that at a big box store. PLUS, the price was right too! ACE had the best price for the WEBER Grille that I bought. You can't ask for more than that! THANK YOU ACE HARDWARE!”
“First, I just looked at other reviews for this location. Im not giving this store a low score like others have solely because Tractor Supply as a whole is “woke.” I'm basing my score due to my interaction with the staff IN THE STORE. Big difference. Anyway, I normally shop at Tractor Supply in Troy. However, this location had one planter in stock that I really wanted and I made a long drive to get it. Online it said there was one. But when I got there, Deven thought there were more and went to look and found a lot more of this particular hanging planter! I was thrilled! (Corporate needs to make sure they are on top of what’s in stock at different locations.) Thank you Deven for going the extra mile. Let’s talk about James. He not only helped us locate stall pellets, he offered to put them in my cart (and load them in my car) and then THANKED me for shopping at Tractor Supply! Who even says “thank you” like that anymore? James did. Kudos James. Jessie was super sweet at the register. And one other gentleman helped me find a few other things but I didn't get his name. Obviously it was a great experience at this location. Thanks to all! You're what customer service is supposed to be like.”

139 W Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood“Very helpful in letting me know which supplies I needed to do a project myself and even gave some tips on how to do it and what not to buy. I’ve not had this level of service at any other hardware store.”

9314 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“Tom Theiss exceeded our highest expectations when handling our hardware order for our new home. He is an honorable guy who really cares about his clients. It is a pleasure working with Theiss and we strongly recommend doing business with him. Terry and Paul Flotken”

535 N Hwy Dr, Fenton“Hey, I wanted to give a big shout out to Jake. This guy goes above and beyond for us. He’s helped us out on many projects renting out equipment had to come and fix it when it’s broke on his own time. We will continue to buy things and rent things from KK, what a great person to have on their sales team”
“Just Around The Corner Wood Floors made the experience so much easier. Wayne Brooks did an excellent job consulting and educating me about the process and dividing the work into two different sections so it would be the least disruptive in my life. Mark, David, Jake, Brian, Dave, Ryan, Todd, and Jacob all worked on the floors for many days. Some of the wood panels had to be replaced. The workers went above and beyond , even putting out food and water for my pets because they knew I wouldn’t be there in the early morning. I would definitely hire them for work in the future!”
“I will NEVER shop at Home Depot or Lowe’s again unless I’m forced to for some reason. Schnars has 10/10 customer service. Let me tell you about my great experience.I needed a new weed eater so I walked into Schnars. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I believe is named Jacob. Not in an aggressive sales way, but more of a helpful greeting.I set my sight on what looked like a pretty good deal, but was kindly directed to an even better deal which would save me money and get me a blower, weed eater, and 2 batteries for a great price, which turned out to be an obvious choice. They threw in a free Echo hat just because they are nice . Honestly, I needed another hat, so I was happy.Turns out I forgot the second battery that came with the set. A few hours later I was SHOCKED to see that the same gentleman showed up to my door step just to personally deliver the battery to me. Who even gives such great customer service anymore?Anyway, I felt compelled to leave this review because I’ve now been there like 10 times and have had a great experience each time.”
“The Frankenpumpkin event was awesome. Kids absolutely loved it and enjoyed themselves. Went inside to browse and was asked by multiple employees if I need assistance. All the staff was super friendly and more than happy to help. Will definitely return for future purchases”
“Great customer service. Friendly staff who are willing to answer questions and they don’t make you feel like an idiot for being a novice or a newbie. The store is packed with all kinds of things you didn’t even know you needed. I recommend Rockler for your woodworking needs in the St. Louis area.”

2077 Congressional Dr, St. Louis“I took a class this morning, and ADRIAN was my teacher. I called yesterday (Friday) being very upset about my 2 - 3 month bad experience with a different woodworking supply store regarding a class that I really needed to take before taking an online course (the one of my dreams - so excited) in November. When I called I spoke with TIM, who could not have been more so down-to-earth, kind, tuned-in, and helpful. He asked, "Can you come in tomorrow morning?" The class was the best class, AND teacher who taught me esoteric details that , I swear, opened a blocked pathway in my brain. I've been trying to break through it for a couple of decades! He left nothing out. Have you ever taken a class or read a how-to-book where you don't find out until later that they intentionally left out key points or steps that would make you or break you. Status or job security has to be the reason. Walking to my car after the class I was thinking, "This is the first day of the rest of my life." That sounds cornball - it even surprised me! I was, and am, over-the-moon with this experience. Also(!), the store itself is like a child's dream candy store to a woodworking enthusiast or professional. And the STAFF is top-notch. They are good guys, and that is saying a lot these days.”
“Everybody's always helpful. Prices seem to be a little more competitive than in the past. Its local. Stores always clean. Usually have what I'm looking for. I was surprised when I went to 1 location a week before Memorial Day and they didn't have any American Flags but went to another location and they had several sizes and varieties. Also the American Flags I bought were...MADE IN THE U.S.A! That's a huge selling point for me.”
7:30AM - 8PM
221 Lamp and Lantern Village, Chesterfield“Every time I go to this Ace store someone helps me out above and beyond the call of duty. The associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. I only wished that I was closer to this store.”
“Staff is helpful and patient with my questions about various products. I haven't found anywhere in or around St. Louis that has 1/4 of the selection and I know the only hope you may have to beat the prices is rolling the dice online.”
“The customer service and quality materials is the reason I always go to Hoods. Al answers all my tedious questions with patience and Rachel is always super friendly.”
7AM - 6PM
3030 S St Peters Pkwy, St Charles“So nice to have real customer service! I have leg issues and the lady working outside went inside and got me a cart. Amazing to see compassion. Thank you so much.”
“As the President of Montgomery County Fire Alliance I would like to thank Heavy Duty Equipment on behalf of all the Chiefs for their generous donation of leaf blowers that were able to be shared with 4 of our fire departments. As the Chief of Montgomery Fire I’d like to personally thank you for the two new leaf blowers that allowed us to make our tankers even more ready for this year’s season.
The shop looked great while we were there too, lots of nice equipment.”
“If anyone read my last message. Please forget it.
This new one is: these guys do the best they can. Sometimes it takes a while getting parts needed. They have no choice.
I know they do a good job just have trouble getting parts needed.”
“We intentionally drive out of our way to go to this hardware store...the cashiers are super friendly and actually work things around to save you money...just bought a battery operated Dewalt weed eater, leaf blower combo, saved $90 for being a rewards member and got to use $20 gift card that we picked up last visit...SCORE!!!!”
“Very personal feel. Old school personal touch coupled with the latest product and plants. Note that this is a smaller Ace than most but the gardening area outside offers lots of choices. And free fresh made popcorn ?. Been going here for 30 years. I do miss the shop cat that used to live in this Ace.”
“I called ahead of time to make sure they had the fuel filter and fuel hoses that I needed. Scott is cognizant of the fact that one’s shopping experience doesn’t always start when you go through the front door, sometimes it starts on the phone. I was impressed with Scott’s product knowledge, that he really appreciated the call. Jesus knew exactly what I needed and even suggested that I replace the hose clips with hose clamps, which I did. As I started to walk away with my old, nasty fuel filter and hoses, Jesus said, let me throw that away for you, sir. I had great service from the beginning to the very end, as I told Scott and Jesus, I have found my new “go to” lawnmower place, having recently moved to this area. Ron”
7:30AM - 4:30PM
10500 Tesshire Dr, St. Louis“First experience takeaways at Norrenberns. Professional crew behind the desk, had everything I needed in stock and David T the delivery crew helped me carry some extremely heavy 2x12x20' off the alley into the backyard without question. I was a long time customer of Forest Park Lumber and feel I have have found it's long lost twin. Keep buying from local business' continues to be my goal. Thanks for the great service.”
“The staff was super friendly, and even helped me load the soil onto the flat bed cart with me. After I was done checking out, there was a younger lady in the garden area who was told to go on break, and offered to help load the soil in the truck with me, since the guys that usually do it weren't around. I didn't want her to have to go to work while on her break, but she insisted. That kind of work is hard to come by.
Then the guy that usually does it, finally comes out of hiding, and the girl asks him to help. He says yes and even pushes the heavy cart for me to where I parked and loaded it into the truck with me.
I was very impressed with how everyone was working together. That is what I call true teamwork.
I will definitely be coming back to this location.”
“Decided to stop by here and see if I could get a nice tool set put together for my son for Christmas and this store did not disappoint. I found everything I needed plus some. The staff was very nice and helpful.”
