This company (MFA, Stroud, Ok) is horrible & insensitive to their customers. My 82 year old aunt is on hospice and they refused to fill her propane up although her bill has been paid since Thursday. I called the emergency after hours number to request service & made them aware of the situation, and we were willing to pay the $150 after hours service fee. They refused service without a solid or valid reason, to a customer who is on hospice care. The only explanation I got was, they were done working until next week. You’re never done working when you’re servicing customers. Why have an after hours service line if you’re not going to service customers after hours?

This is the worst company we have ever had to deal with.. given the previous reviews we all feel about the same. They change policy without notifying their customers. Their prices are outrageous and unfortunately we are renting and we have to use them. They take full advantage of people who truly have no other choice other than them. Some advice for you MFA is maybe you should try notifying your clients of price changes and policy prior to them changing so those who have a budget for your outrageously priced propane don’t get screwed over when it comes time to out more propane in the tank. Changing the policy from being able to buy 100 gallons as a minimum to 200 gallons and that is costing your clients $500!!! Instead of $300! Might be helpful. People don’t budget for a $200 difference in prices! We deal with the Carthage location and they are completely terrible but unfortunately it looks as though everyone has the same experience everywhere this company is.

We have had the best experience with Scott from West Fork, AR office. He has been very fast to respond and service has been dependable each and every time. He is the friendliest person and so helpful. We had an experience in the winter where our tank completely was out he delivered before we left to work and came back that evening to help my husband bleed the line to get us back up and running. All this while we where on high alert for bad weather. He has made our first experience with propane easy and fast this past year in a half.

When you order gas 7 days out and still can't get them to come and they laugh at you, that is poor customer service. People need gas during a snowstorm and subzero windchill temps.

Everything about MFA (emporia office) is horrible EXCEPT Jeanette and Tom. They were the only ones who were pleasant and nice to speak with. I have been disrespected and blown off TWICE by the same rude woman. I never got her name because when she continued to rattle on about how I’m an “irresponsible adult” I just kept saying I want your supervisor. She constantly interrupted me, said that she was too busy to complete my requests, that she wasn’t going to barter with me because I was willing to pay what Tom had quoted me over the weekend and not the additional $100 that she was adding on for whatever reason. I’ve been in customer service for utilities for years and if I ever said half of what she did I would lose my job in an instant! No the customer isn’t always right but you do NOT ever yell at them or ridicule them.

Horrible customer service and policy. I like to fill up in august or September but getting a top off, if not very very low, was impossible. Also when they do “fill up the tank” they only go to about 65-75%. I assumed the point of that is to make sure that I have to buy more gas in the colder months when prices are high. I switched to Brooks Gas. They do top offs, fill to 80% and have excellent customer service.

aside from the horrible service the company told us that they will not crucify an employee that attempted to murder two women the other night, an employee that then went on to brag about doing so and wishing he had recorded it on tape

when brought to their attention that their employees were acting in Despicable ways and admitting to causing physical harm on other people they gave a half-hearted subpart answer refusing to take any amount of responsibility and refusing to hold their employees to any type of standard I will no longer be shopping at any of these locations and I would advise anyone with any moral backbone to do the same.
