PLEASE STOP DONATING HERE. DONATE TO "FISH Thrift STORE" IN ST PETERS OR "CALVARY TEMPLE" donate to places that have a direct impact on your community and neighbors. Stop giving money to these insanely overpriced thrift stores that are not helping local people, just making CEOs richer so they can buy a 2nd vacation home.

The staff is super friendly, but over the past 3 years, their pricing has skyrocketed, and their shelves have become more disorganized. They are WAY over-priced compared to Goodwill across the street. Today, I saw a basket originally from Dollar Tree for $4.99. They had a single bamboo cutting board that I saw in a package of three at Target for less than they are selling the single. They also have tons of stuff set out in sealed brown boxes with no way to tell what's inside. If they want to keep the boxes sealed, at least put a card taped to it with what it is and a description. All electronics are marked "as-is" which I assume means you can't return them, although Goodwill across the street has a seven day return policy for electronics. No wonder there was only a handful of shoppers today, but Goodwill was packed and had a line at checkout.

This was the most well kept thrift store I've seen. So many items ad everything was where it was supposed to be. Every item I looked at was marked and tagged. Great staff, very helpful. I give this salvation army the highest rating. Please don't take my work for it! Check it out for yourself.

Went today check it out the first time. employees are very friendly and nice and welcoming. The only bad thing, I have to say is everything smell like cigarettes walking in looking at the clothes and handbags bought a few items. Washed the clothes trying to clean the items and my clothes still smell like cigarettes and my purse that I bought trying my best to get the smell out. Luckily I put the items I purchased in my trunk but it reeks also not really sure how to to get rid of the smell.

My friend bought me a wall hanging magnifying mirror there. I've been looking for years for one. They don't have a wheelchair to use if you need one. They sell nice things.

I would give them a zero if possible. This organization has become too politicized. People should not be shamed into apologizing for their color. I will never ring a bell for them again...EVER.

Greedy.... They get things for free, and ask retail prices for used stuff. Some of it is broken. Be very careful buying anything here. I'd be happy to round up to the next dollar for the vets on a reasonable price item. But when you can buy it new online for the same price, that's just greedy for them to ask that much. I used to think they were better then "Goodwill" but not anymore. Not everyone is a re-seller or collector. Most are just living below the poverty line.

Well organized but prices are high for a thrift store. For example, $3.99 for well worn tank tops. You can buy NEW at Walmart for $4. Also, the way they tag clothing is odd -- it puts holes in the clothes (see example photo). The other thing to note is that there are virtually no good brands -- a lot of Old Navy, Target, Walmart and Kohl's. Depending on the locations you go to, you can find better brands but not here.

Salvation Army & St. Vincent de Paul & Habitat for Humanity are up amongst my top 5 faves. Mostly for retaining their integrity as far as missions statements & aligning w/em. Thrifty pick for clothing, wall art,& furniture depending- cuz most states where I'd regularly shop-the S.V.'s always been selling "old well made furniture" but not •cool old•like mid century modern. It's all due to them actually putting more recources into mission vs marketing. Most folks forget u can time travel just visiting a store. Senior shoppers & employees have enlightened me & regaled & sometimes learned/ridiculed me for my mistaken view on historical events! It's a real thing community & u can find it in spots like these.
