I usually do not leave reviews unless there is something significant to note. I purchased a new vehicle from St Charles Hyundai in March 2022. In May 2022, I received a call from their accounting office and they advised that I had qualified for a rebate that was unpublished at the time of my purchase. The rebate was for $500 and they provided a check. I thought that was above and beyond at the time and made me happy about doing business with them. This past October, my son was looking for a new car and I told him to look at a new Hyundai, as I have been pleased with mine. He and I went to St Charles Hyundai and he decided to buy one of the cars. I mentioned to the sales person that I told my son to come there to look because I was very pleased with them about my past experience. The salesperson on my son's purchase requested St Charles Hyundai send a referral bonus to me for $100. I received that in the mail a couple of days ago. In my opinion, this is a business that operates ethically and I take no hesitation in recommending them if you are buying a car. They hit it out of the park on customer service!

Shady dealership. Beware. Takes 8 weeks to get a service appt. 5 days to do easy work and then find out the work never got done. Then to reschedule it's another 8 weeks to see the car. Needed 4 new tires. Said they match Tirerack. Nope. They wanted $1700 for 4 new tires. Bought them on Tirerack $699 and paid $125 to have Firestone install. More than double the price trying to gauge me. They don't return calls. Excuse after excuse. They have no business being in the luxury car business.

I purchased a Nissan Pathfinder and could not have been more happier with the way things turned out. I worked with Brian who is a sales rep and Lamont who was my finance manager. They were both great. I could not have received a better team. Thank you both for your help. I will be back.

Although I have yet to visit the dealership, I can't seem to get the service department to answer the phone or call me back. I have a factory recall appointment next week and wanted to touch base with them before making 2 hour drive to my closest dealer. I hope in person experience is greatly improved.

I just bought a 2023 Genesis gv70 Advanced from Genesis of St Charles last week. My salesman Kevin Thomas is very helpful and honest. No Markup from MSRP plus qualified incentive. I highly recommend Kevin Thomas at Genesis of St Charles.

Absolutely do not even think about this place. I came here to pick up my new work vehicle, which had been ordered nearly a year ago but there were delays (COVID caused lots of production issues/delays). By the time the vehicle was ready, I was out of office. Once I returned, reached out and let them know I'd be coming by end of May to pick up the vehicle. Due to hectic schedules and events beyond my control, that didn't happen. I received nasty emails from the sales manager, Ben Macormic. Mind you, this vehicle has been paid for already. When I was finally able to go get the vehicle, that's when he really showed his ugly. He degraded, belittled, and verbally accosted me multiple times. I asked where the vehicle was located and he just handed me the keys and told me to find it because it had been there so long. They initially wouldn't transfer the plates, even though fleet management said they were supposed to. And to top it all off, Ben refused to take the keys to the vehicle that I was trading in. He said he didn't want to be "liable" so I had to leave them inside the old vehicle, unlocked. Wow. The fact that this individual was allowed to be a manager tells me all I need to know about the higher ups. I would never shop here, I'm telling everyone I know to never shop here, and I've informed by business of the experience so that they can decide on whether or not they'll take their business elsewhere.

Brought a lemon 10 years ago. I purchased my 2013 Hyundai Elantra from this dealership brand new. It currently has 60,000 miles on it. During the 10 years of owning this vehicle. I've had to have my engine replaced and my air conditioner repaired (at my expense). I was just there on 7/11/23 to get two recalls (anti- theft software installed and anti-rust underbody) performed. Along with an oil change. Which by the way, they didn't check my brakes lights as it was out. It was pointed out by another customer before I pulled off the lot. I had to bring the car back to the dropoff bay and they replaced the light bulb. Fast forward today. I hear a thump noise every time I turn the stirring wheel to the right. I did not hear this sound before I brought my car in for the recalls and the oil change. I called to get an appointment. The next available appointment is a month from now. I told them the noise sounds pretty serious . They said I could drop off the car but they don't have any loaner cars available. I will be praying everyday that I can make it back and forth until my service appointment in September. I forgot to mention, a representative from this dealership told me that I could go to another Hyundai dealership for service. I literally live 10 minutes from this dealership. If it's unsafe for me to drive to your dealership, why would I drive farther to another Hyundai dealership? I was told by a dealership representative that they don't make the cars... they just sell them. I am publicly posting this review because the last person (a female) was extremely rude and disrespectful.

Don't know about their new car department, but avoid the service dept like the plague. Another engine replacement horror story. More than five months (2 months after they received the new engine) the job was completed. Calling was futile, had to go in in-person and was told 6 times that the car would be done 'tomorrow', 'day after tomorrow', or 'end of the week'. Obviously, 5 times they lied. Three times 'someone 'was working on it now' when I was talking with them. When finally completed, they tried to convince me to spend $2500 on 'recommended service'. Had it checked at a reputable mechanic and was told needed only tires and alignment. Now waiting to see how much of the almost $5000.00 rental car charges Hyundai will reimburse.

I worked with Rick through the entire process of viewing the vehicle, test driving, and signing the paperwork. It was an incredible experience and I loved every minute at this dealership. The entire staff was super nice and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting Hyundai/Genesis of St Charles. I would buy from here again!

Amazing experience. Making the deal is always the worst part of car buying for me, but they were fair and reasonable and the whole thing went really fast. I'm really happy with the car I got and the price I paid. I'd recommend Genesis of St. Charles to anyone looking for a luxury auto at a reasonable price.

Although I did not buy my car there they treat me with respect and their honest and upfront. No hidden things like other dealers. They have been amazing from the start and love going there for service. I have to try the pick up amd drop off service see how that is but they will prob do amazing also like everything else. Should bought the car their instead.

I scheduled an appointment over 5 weeks out because I needed a specific day (a Monday). I have to drop off my gv70. Nice car but their are so many issues and a recall with it already, and it’s not even a year old. They do not offer loaner cars, they are all booked all the time. My appointment was put in the system wrong. The response was we can get you in sometime in JUNE, that’s 6 weeks away. You should not be allowed to sell vehicles if you can not service them in a responsible timeframe. Hopefully once the separate genesis building is built they are able to keep up with the volume. As it is now service elsewhere.
