I will always recommend Olympia and Derek is the absolute best!
There was a negative review posted within the last 24 hours as someone named Sandra. The person she was talking about in her review was me. If anything I was to blame for the mishap as I came walking in and saw Sandra standing there, but she was off to the side where typically people wait for their cars to be worked on, and she was not at the counter. So I assumed she was waiting for her car, and I went back to the office to drop off some treats for the guys. I suppose my presence distracted Derek and then he came out to help me because I was at the counter.
I’ve been coming here for 15 years and have never had a bad experience and have Referred others who felt they were getting cheated at other shops, only to have Derek and his guys fix their problem for a much more reasonable price.
These guys are the best and they work with integrity. Don’t let one person’s negative experience (especially from a misunderstanding, that was not the fault of the business) distract you from choosing Olympia.

Stopped by here to check on tires. Guy from back screams out be with you in a minute. Never here before, pass by it all the time decided to stop today. I say ok. I see a sign on the wall that reads; if you come in here grouchy we will charge you $10 for putting up with you. I think to myself, why invite a customer in and start it off with a negative vibe automatically?? I wait patiently for 5-10 minutes. Still no one at counter. I see a Black Jeep pull up and park, coming in the door. He walks into the office where the guy has screamed out and gives him something in a bag. Then the screamer talks to him and walks out from behind his office of 2-way mirror and sits down in a chair and begins to help the guy who walked in after me. In my opinion he should have said, excuse me this other person was here first. I’ll be with you in a minute. Again, I say nothing. I wait and they continue talking, heavy set guy with gray hair, parted on the side continues to talk to the guy who walked in after me. I thought to myself. Why don’t you practice what you’re preaching, if you’re grouchy you’ll be charged $10. I waited a few more minutes still nothing so I left quietly. I will not return and I will tell everyone I meet about your poor customer service. You lost a future customer because of your bad attitude.

After a terrible experience at a previous auto shop where we got treated like clueless children and thrown a ton of attitude, we came to this shop to help us out for some work I couldn't do myself due to lack of tools. I'm a certified mechanic, so having the previous auto shop had me worried I'd have the same issue here, but this shop was fantastic! They treated us like family, were fully honest with us, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening in a step-by-step review.
Thank you! You'll see us again whenever we need more work done, and I'll be happy to recommend you to anyone I know.

Derrick was awesome to work with! I was recommended to Olympia by my brother in law and all I needed was an inspection and emissions test. Something got mixed up with my appointment but Derrick made room for me and I was in and out within an hour. Super great people working there and thorough too! Highly recommend Olympia!

I really don't want to write this review as I have been a customer since they opened. The real problem is they have just gotten too busy for one person to service the counter. That being said I dropped off a tire that had a nail in it. I didn't know that it also was damaged to the sidewall and would need to be replaced. No problem with that. The problem was I didn't receive a phone call and they put a new tire on costing $166.00 without calling me first asking for an estimate or give me choices. As it turns out I actually need 4 tires, so this is a sale that they will miss. My car is a 2008 Prius w/15 inch tires. I asked if I could return the tire. Derick said he didn't think so but would call and let me know. Well I never received a phone call, so I am moving on. Like I said at the beginning, the real problem is growing pains of the business. Did I mention I gave them a car for Charity? Not the best car, but it ran. I do think they are honest, just very busy. Like other's have said, trying to get an inspection is impossible. They quoted me 3 weeks down the road when I asked. I have found another locally owned reputable business close by and got right in next day. I am truly sorry this happened.

Honest mechanics, always booked out at least a month in advance, you can leave your car there for a couple of days and they work you in when they can if you need it.

It's difficult finding a good, reputable auto repair shop. I live farther away now but will always bring my car here for the quality and trust I have in what they tell me.
